to day i got up super early and went to my buddy house and picked him up. he was kinda ribbing me for not wearing any camo and i told him i'll be in a blind no problems rite well the morning was awsome here birds woke up on timeand watching them cast out of the trees was great. Till they all started going the wrong ways. They completly split up in 2 big groups and left us high and dry, except a couple jakes out front to keep us pined down.so i opted to goo take a look see on the north side of the tree row. as i was working my way through i spotted a bird oh no i thought and hugged the ground as tite as i could i felt like i was in the middle of a bank robbery and i couldn't move (hince no camo) :banghead: so after the lil fella moved off i crawled as slow as i could to the nearest evergreen and there where 9 more birds at 20yds justin sunning them self it was great they don't see me (yet) now just wait seconds seemed like hours and a jake started moveing toward me whats that i here my buddy started calling man be quite i thought this bird is gonna walk on me if he doesn't stop so the bird is working my way finaly i get a shot at 12yds and i pull back settle in look and wham let er go the bird does a summersalt and starts flapping this is great i thought at the time but where did i hit him it all happened so fast then 4 big toms that i never saw bum rush him and start beating him by no i can't take it i'm gonna get #2 and be done ig bird comes in the lane pull back take my time release perfect flight it was awsome exept for the twig that i didn't see i flung my arrow out in the wheat and they where gone o well maybe next time but i am truly hooked on getting them with my long bow now this is the greatest ever (http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/jake1981_photo/longbowturk.jpg)
