Extra smooth bows. Owned an Ibex for a couple years and shot 2 deer. Excellent workmanship.

They are fast smooth  accurate and light in the hand..  Anything by Lukas Novotny is top drawer.

I use my 52" Sythian if I'm hunting out of a blind. It's the only bow I have never considered getting rid of in my never ending revolving door of bows. I hope to get one of his horn bows someday.

I'd like to find me a take down damascus to use in blind hunting.

MattD. That is exactly what I have coming ,by this summer is a horn bow from Lukas , one of his Mughal crab bow style and then a bit later this summer one of his hybrids most likely in an Indo -Persian style.   A horn bow has been my dream bow since I was a child.

I'm getting my bow from Lukas a few weeks from now, and I very much intend to hunt every hunt-able creature with it!

Ben, I have only had a digital camara for a bit more than a year. previous to that I was not to worried about my hunting history,I hunted because I HAD to(primal urge), not to fill scrap books. Now I wish I had kept a better tally of whats a come to pass. ANYHOW, if, and I asay IF I have any pics they would be 35mm and I have no clue how to post them. I will check.
PETER, NOTHING vanillia about a Turk or any Saluki. Sorry for treading on your thread, but I will try to find some pics for you.

I was so very glad someone asked for pictures because I was thinking I wanted to ask and in fact that's the very reason I opened this thread again.

Watching and waiting to see your bows fellas. Thank you!

Guys with the Saluki's, do you find that they do exceptionally well with carbon arrows, especially on the stiffer side ?
I was really impressed on how the bow tuned with an arrow I felt would be a tad stiff.

I found that my Saluki is one of the easier bows that I have to tune.  It is absolutely the best shooting short bow I have ever owned.  I've managed to win a few shoots with mine.

I shoot carbons out of my Grandeur, it does not care for wood as much but will lay the carbons right in there
