Title: B-50 Bow Strings - Free to good home
Post by: AlanF on April 14, 2010, 05:05:00 PM
I have several bowstrings I acquired from a gentlman who owned a custom arrow and bowstring business.  If you can use them please let me know.

The following bowstrings are new in sealed packages:
-14 strand 64" brown and yellow
-16 strand 64" brown and yellow
-16 strand 64" black and yellow
-16 strand 62" brown

Additionally there are bowstrings (these appear to be used but still very servicable) in the following lengths:
61"
64"
57"
63"

Thank you.
Alan

Are the lengths AMO length, or actual length? If they are AMO lengths I could use the 14 strand brown and yellow 64".

Thanks,
Jeff

I do believe that I would be able to use the 16 stand black and yellow.
Thanks

Alan:

Are these longbow or recurve strings?

Well if no one else will say it, I sure can use them. They are the colors I I shot too.

I just got some kids bows off an auction site that they'll work nicely on, even if I have to re-twist one end.

God bless,Mudd

Guys the strings in the packages are just marked with the length so I can only guess as to whether or not it is AMO.  The loose strings are overall length.  The packaged strings are marked with an R so perhaps that is indictive of a recurve string.  Please let me know if the strings will work or if you want to try...

Alan, if the 57" is still available I could use it for my kid's bow.
