It's beautiful outside. Long months of a cold, snowy, posthunting winter are over. The carp are moving up streams to spawn. Groundhogs are coming out of their holes, shaking off that long winter nap. In fact, there's one in the backyard now, a big fat one. He's just daring me to go out and bust him! But, because of a back surgery 3 weeks ago, here I sit, bored to death. I know it was a good thing, my leg doesn't feel like it's on fire anymore, but wow, I'm itching to go. I'm up and about, yesterday my doctor cleared me to take short rides in my truck, I even pulled my lightest recurve once, but it scared me doing it. I think in a few more weeks, I'll be ready to go. I can't wait!
Get healthy first then you will be able to really enjoy getting out instead of visiting the doctor again.
Dont rush the recovery, you'll be well in no time.
