My boy Jake has his buddy Casey spending a couple of days with us. Casey is very interested in fishing and hunting. He lost his father earlier this year so I have stepped in to the male influence role. We spent the day fishing, rock climbing and ended it with some Trad! The sun is a little tough on them so excuse the faces made lol.
I have two future deer draggers here! They'll be doing Hunters Ed in 2011 together.

The bow is a double shelf Maddog Pup LB that Mike made for Jake and it is real handy for other youngsters to give a try with!

Casey and Jake,
you guys keep shooting like that and we'll be reading YOUR books and buying YOUR CD's when you get as big as ol' Dave! Nice shooting guys!
I look forward to seeing your picture as men, each holding the ends of one bow held over a bull moose or a grizzly bear!

As my friend Mudd would say, "How cool is that, way!"
Great things happen when children are helped and encouraged!
Both good looking Boys there. More power to You. Best wishes. As a youngster I never realy comprehended the effect archery had on me. What You are doing now will only help advance these young Men in ways extraordinary. Guide Them and They will be like straight arrows.
