Season has opened or is drawing close.. I was wondering how everyone traditional bowhunts for birds?
Other........I try to set up with a natural ground blind of some sort, hedgerow, blowdown or what ever is handy. Have used wild grapevines also.
Ground blind with decoys in the spring; treestand in the fall (since I'm deer hunting at the same time).

Great info..
Since I generally hunt with my gal, I voted for pop-up blinds because that is what we usually use.
As an aside, on the few occasions I do hunt alone I really enjoy using my ghillie suit. A little (actually a lot) harder to get drawn on a close bird, but fun none the less.
OkKeith
Generally use natural blinds, a carryover from duck hunting. Easier than packing in a commercial blind.
I hunt off a stool and try to sit in some cover or beside a big tree. Decoys don't work very often where I hunt, the birds hang up and won't come in.
on the ground no blind, no gillie- regular camo with a decoy, my bow and my camera :)
