If I was interetsed in getting a Hoyt Dorado riser to put ILF limbs on, is it better/easier to convert the riser to ILF or the limbs to Hoyt?
You have to convert the limbs to the Dorado by swapping bushings. You'd need to do some serious mill work to do it the other way.
Convert the limbs to fit the riser. You can get the conversion kit from Lancaster Archery. I think it is about $20.
Or better yet get the Hoyt Excel riser, already ILF.
i've got a tradtech titan riser with hoyt G3 medium limbs. 60" at a max of 48# @ 28". i shoot an easton epic at around 425 grs. i'm shooting 191 fps and have a very smooth and quiet bow. i really enjoy shooting it.
