Jason and I would like to apology for being so late on our delivery of our bows. We have run into a bunch of delays here in getting them out but mainly I overestimated our ability to deliver.
We are about 4-5 weeks behind right now and are building bows and limbs as fast as we can.
Hopefully we can catch up soon.
Mike and Jason
RUT-Rohhhh!

Too much work can be a good problem! I hope you catch up.
Sherm
Quality is what's important to me.
It's all good.
Mike you have class my man.
should be worth the wait! take your time... =)
Now there is a standup bowyer!
Mike and Jason are the real deal!

Hang in there Mike. Most men, and I mean men understand these things happen. Getting the quality you produce is what brought people to you.
I hope you work through the issues soon.
Good luck,
Billy
That's why I love these guys....Mike, I'm seriously thinking about getting another set of limbs for my Orion....Now to decide longbow or recurve....veneers or bamboo....and at what draw weight? Man life is so full of tough decisions.
Good luck fellas
Travis

That is what I was thinking, and it must be because of the good products you produce. Keep up the good work!
Just ordered a new set of limbs for my Orion! Take your time and keep building the quality equipment you are known for...thanks for all you do for Traditional Archery!
You know as long as you inform your customers most will be understanding. 1 month isn't bad. Keep them in the loop like it looks like you are, and most people will understand. Apologize to the rest.
Congrats.
You're all good people to deal with
Hope others can learn from yas. Keep up the good work.... :archer:
I would agree that communication is key... and give realistic expectations on delivery. Checking the mailbox every day wondering if today is the lucky day only to be dissappointed gets hard to take after a month or so. While a tradgang post might reach the most number of people quickly, those who are waiting would probably appreciate a quick word on when their specific bow might be ready.
Good luck with the backlog. I've got plenty to keep me busy as long as I get mine in plenty of time to gear up for hunting season!
Okay Killy.
In an interest to be politically correct:
ADULTS, I MEAN ADULTS!!!!!!!!
Billy
I just talked to Mike today, the limbs he is building for my Dorado will be a few more weeks yet.
Anybody have any feedback to share that has gotten there limbs?
Craig
Yikes!
That STILL leaves me out!

That is some great advice. A little communication goes a long way!
All the best to you Mike and to Dryad Bows!
4-5 weeks with an apology is in my opinion an unusual thing but a good one. The late bows I have ordered are normally worth the wait.... but the apology is admirable
BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!!!! BRAVO!!!! Good to see a bowyer let folks know whats going on with their business instead of waiting for someone to roast them on one of the forums....PR
Keep building them Mike Jason They are worth the wait. Taking mine to MT next couple of weeks for spring bear. Not even packing a backup this time.
Shoot, I'd never roast these guys. I have watched their doings for years, I know their character and their craftsmanship. I have seen much good come from their presence on TradGang, and cannot imagine an offense coming from them that would merit bashing. I regard them as old friends.
If a bow being a little bit late is my worst worry, I am living large, now run and tell that.

Yee Haw!!!! Got my Oracle today. It's a beauty and tomorrow will tune some arrows for it. Then its off to the Baltimore shoot to show it off. Hang in there those of you waiting... They're all they are cracked up to be!
Steve
