Title: Apology to Dryad customers
Post by: wingnut on April 06, 2010, 02:21:00 PM
Jason and I would like to apology for being so late on our delivery of our bows. We have run into a bunch of delays here in getting them out but mainly I overestimated our ability to deliver.

We are about 4-5 weeks behind right now and are building bows and limbs as fast as we can.

Hopefully we can catch up soon.

Mike and Jason

Hang in there Mike.  Most men, and I mean men understand these things happen. Getting the quality you produce is what brought people to you.

I hope you work through the issues soon.

Good luck,

Billy

That is what I was thinking, and it must be because of the good products you produce.  Keep up the good work!

You know as long as you inform your customers most will be understanding.  1 month isn't bad. Keep them in the loop like it looks like you are, and most people will understand.  Apologize to the rest.

Congrats.

I would agree that communication is key... and give realistic expectations on delivery. Checking the mailbox every day wondering if today is the lucky day only to be dissappointed gets hard to take after a month or so. While a tradgang post might reach the most number of people quickly, those who are waiting would probably appreciate a quick word on when their specific bow might be ready.

Good luck with the backlog. I've got plenty to keep me busy as long as I get mine in plenty of time to gear up for hunting season!

That is some great advice.  A little communication goes a long way!

All the best to you Mike and to Dryad Bows!

4-5 weeks with an apology is in my opinion an unusual thing but a good one. The late bows I have ordered are normally worth the wait.... but the apology is admirable

Shoot, I'd never roast these guys. I have watched their doings for years, I know their character and their craftsmanship. I have seen much good come from their presence on TradGang, and cannot imagine an offense coming from them that would merit bashing. I regard them as old friends.

If a bow being a little bit late is my worst worry, I am living large, now run and tell that.
