Just received this Centaur Chimera in the mail box today from Tukudu. I shot a buddy's Centaur last spring and have wanted one ever since. These bows are amazing in how much energy they store. This one is 58" and 46lbs @ 28". It shoots every bit as fast as my 50 pound bows but is much easier and smoother to draw.

Tom I am glad you like it. That is a recurve like grip and it makes it fun to shoot. Like I said earlier today that bow has turkey written all over it deep in the blind. I love it when a plan comes together. tukudu

Joe, Texas rat snake skins, antler tips, finger grooves, stipple/engraved grip, royal Jicarda riser w/thumbrest, straight Zebra veneer on belly wood.
Hope this helps. The serial # on the bow is 00255. Jim will know all the specs with this #.

Awesome bow brother! Only Centaur I've had was non-carbon... need to try the carbon's down the road...
Jeff, I'm bringing it to the Kentucky Klassic if you will be there and would like to give it a go.
Thanks TJ

Joe, I was always a recurve man myself mainly because the belief that recurves out performed and had much less handshock as longbows did. Well let me tell you, those days are over for me. I'm no longbow expert as I only own two, but I do know about Centaurs and Crow Creeks and they will stack up to almost any of my recurves. Give one a go you won't be sorry.
My name is T.J. and I am no longer a self proclaimed "recurve man", I am a Trad bowhunter.
