"Union Jack" that is.
Several months ago I told folks about the warranty that Jim Belcher has on his bows. I had the glass to split on the bottom limb of a Longhorn. It could not be repaired. I purchased the Longhorn new from Jim about 15 months prior. After telling me that bow could not be repaired, he stated that he would build me a new bow at no charge. At my request, Jim agreed to build me one of his Union Jack longbows. This morning, Jack arrived. He stands 66" tall and weighs in at 57# and is built like the Battleship Texas.
Three lams of bamboo in the limb core, very nasty gnarled up Michigan maple veneers and a chunk of cocobola in the riser that would make even the strongest of men heart's flutter. I'l have pictures later today, but right now Jack wants to go outside and play........
Danny
I might not know "Jack", but I know "Ric O'Shay". Earlier this morning I answered the phone and "Ric O'Shay" said "Jack" was on the way over. What a nice, straight limbed long bow. Jim Belcher outdid himself on this one. It looks good and shoots even better. Just what Ric O'Shay needed, another bow to beat me with when we hit the 3-D trail. :banghead:
Looking forward to some pics!
You just made me proud to know you own that!

how does Jack shoot ?
Ben,
Give me a few days and I'll post a good review. The last several days we have had winds of 30-35 with gusts over 40. Difficult to stand, let alone shoot an arrow.
Danny
Danny, Bet you are excited with that new bow and I would be to. Very nice bow
Nice looking bow!
Good luck
That's a blonde I could fall for!!! Congratulations!! I hope she is faithful to you..lol
God bless,Mudd
Hey, Mudd, are you suggesting that "Jack" is really "Jacque or Jackie?" He called her a him. I'm so confused (and I wanted to used the new Graemlin too).
Sorry to report that I saw Danny shoot "Jack" when the winds were not just awful. The graemlin
tell all: :archer2:
Ben -
