I use a Jewelstik.  This is what was demonstrated to me by the maker of the Razorcap, before NAP bought them.  This works for me and I do get a hair popping edge on the heads.

Listen to ALDO. Jewler stick. If they are bad dull, I'll use a new file. only a few stokes needed to get a burr, then on to the jewler stick and then I drag mine backwards on a leather stop with yellow stone compound . be careful. DB

Razorcaps are a pain, but it can be done.  I usually start by making sure I have a full beer and at least one extra.
I use a two sided course/fine flat stone.  I pull the bh towards me, tip facing away, turning once between strokes.  When you are satisfied with the result move to the finer stone.  It takes a while.  Look close and you will see the edge on the bh's are all different before you start.  Some will sharpen quicker than others.

+1 to everything so far.  If you use the "search" feature, anything you find on sharpening the Wensel Woodsman can be used with the razorcap.

Try marking the edges with a sharpie so you can see what you are doing.  H

One of my brothers used to hunt with Razorcaps...he'd use a flat diamond stone and follow-up with a ceramic stick.  Worked for him but he's since switched back to shooting Woodsman's now.

A butchers steel works best for me, and I find them easy to sharpen.  They hold an edge well also. If you want to sell yours real cheap, let me know.

I use the 1-2-3, I really only work with the med and fine for heads in decent shape.  Work two blades at once working them side to side.  Haven't tried the leather strop yet, may do that.

I have found that the very coarse (black) DMT diamond hone is the best way to get that first really sharp "rough" edge to begin with. From there I can use any number of other good stones getting progressively finer until I get to the last stage using a ceramic stick. I also have the Jewlstick and it also does a great job. The best thing about Razorcaps, for me, is that everything I have taken with them has gone down in sight and the edges stay very sharp.
