Just spoke with Rod at the hospital and his doctor has encouraged him to keep his clinic schedule. So Lancaster is a go next weekend.
Please no prayers on this thread so we can keep it on the PowWow.
Thanks,
Mike
That is GREAT news!
That realy good news .
Carl
Thanks for the good news update Mike.
Rod, hope you are on the mend, and can get back soon to the things you like doing most ... or at least the things you like most that your doc will approve of. Two weekends ago a very talented bow shooting coach from Decatur, AL told some of us Texans that doing something for 21 days will fix it as a habit. Now your next 21 habit forming days need to be spent doing what the doc says, taking meds, eating, sleeping, exercising right, etc., and getting plenty of fresh air ... hopefully air that has some arrows flying through it. Burn in those healthy living habits until they come to you as natural as drawing back your bow. We need you around for a lot more years to teach us how to find our natural anchor, get good back tension, and then hit the bullseye. And we need you around too because any campfire with you there is a better one. Take care of yourself, John
Rod sure was a big help to me when i first started shooting trad last year.
Rod is a wonderful person and also a great teacher with lots of patience.

Glad to hear he's back on his feet so soon! From what little time we spent talki' you could tell he's GOOD PEOPLE! :clapper: :clapper:
Just saw that the Dr. let him out of the hospital this morning. They must not have done any mental testing. LOL
Mike
thats great news
That is great to hear. NW Trad Wife and I have been really looking forward to his class here in Oregon. We were just discussing last night now we hoped Rod was doing well and would be able to get back to work soon. It is tough paying those bills when you can't work.
Best wishes to Rob for a fast recovery.
Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes! I'm home and the Doctors advised me to not do anything too strenuous for the next few days, but it was OK to continue the clinics as planned.
Thanks again!
Rod
You're a tough ole phart ! LOL>.
Glad your back in the saddle .

Good to hear Rod.
Rod,
I'm glad you are feeling better and I'm anxious to meet you next weekend at Lancaster.

Rod,
We all thank God that you survived this episode and are getting better. The fact that you shoot a bow so well and make great archery equipment (as nice as both of those talents are) is very insignificant compared to what a wonderful person you are. We need you, my friend. Take care of yourself.
God bless,
Allan
Mike.... Did you get my PM's?
I've been off the Gang for awhile. This is the first time I've heard about this. Hope your doing well Rod. Good luck and God Bless.
