I ordered the Easton RPS inserts for my 2018 gamegetter 1 arrows from Cabelas. They are too big. They do not fit into the arrows. The arrows are clearly marked as 2018 and the inserts are clearly marked as 2018. Have you seen this? Any ideas?
Never had that,but put a tip in chuck it up in drill and file a little off carefully.

Did you cut the arrows to your length you want,and if you did what did you use to cut them.Sometimes when they get cut with a tubing cutter possibly you may need to deburr the shaft at the open end.Sometimes even new shafts need to be deburred alittle too.
By too big, I mean they feel like they'll split the arrow if I force them in. I think if I sand them down, it might kill the structural integrity. Their outside diameter is about the same as the arrow OD. I don't know why they don't fit if marked 2018.
If you heat the shaft end a little they will go in.stand the insert on the counter with the front down and heat the shaft and push it straight down it will take a little force.First bend a paper clip like a fish hook and slip the point in the shaft and slowly drag it out and see if you feel it catch a lip.If it does then you need to de-burr the shaft and then do the insert like I mentioned.Good luck
You're right again. I checked one, and did as you said, there is a lip. We were thinking the same thing. I got one in one of the arrows.
