Greetings from NE Ohio, this is my first post and I just wanted to say hello. The trad bug in a long bow form just bit me pretty hard this weekend after my hunting partner bought a new long bow and brought it over. After only shooting it a hand full of times I was hooked. So a few friends recommended I come over here to learn grow in my new venture. My hunting partner bought a 69" 60lb long bow made for PSE by some guy whos last name is Hoyt. It's a gorgeous bow and I was very surprised at how quiet and fast it was. I was also surprised at how accurate I was with it from 15-20yds away. So the quest begins on the learning of Trad archery and finding a bow like his for my own. Great forum and look forward to my new learning adventures.

Welcome . I'm fairly new to the gang myself. You'll find there's a lot of great people here to help you out. I did
Uh oh, another one's got the bug :scared:
So ya might as well grab a spot around the camp fire and figure on stayin' a while :smileystooges:
Welcome aboard. This is a great place to learn about this addiction we call archery. Heck, it's a great place period. Now, as for finding bows, the classifieds on here are the best resource you can imagine. However, if you can get to some of the large shoots like the Compton rendezvous or Denton Hill, you can try a lot of different bows to find out what you like (this can save some $$). Aw who am I kidding, if your like most of us you'll end up with a bunch of bows just 'cause it's fun, anyway you slice it it's all good.
NCH, I think this is the support group, well the addicts corner anyways.
Welcome to the gang, Slide up a chair and learn all you want. Lot of learning to be done here.
welcome
