I see the question about how many bows. How many quivers do you have? How many do you use? I have one bow, but 3 quivers! And I don't know that I'm done yet. Selway detach bow quiver - good way to hunt, but don't like the feel of the bow balance. Art Vincent back quiver for roving -beautiful work and lots of arrows, I think I'll like it. Art Vincent's Adcock side quiver - just arrived, plan to hunt with it. What about one to protect the fletching, side style and cat quiver? A homemade one too perhaps. The gear never stops.

Maybe a dozen or so.
2 with 2 more on order

I only have one back quiver. Now I feel inadequate compared to you guys...LOL
Too many and not enough...
I'm with beachbowhunter! Too many and not enough! And still looking for that special one! lol
Four three bow quivers and one Stalker quiver.I am going to build some maybe the Plains stile.
One BSW back quiver, one cheap Cartel side quiver and one Thunderhorn 6 arrow bow quiver that I haven't tried out yet and only fits my recurve!
If I like the Thunderhorn, I'm going to order a 2nd bow quiver, probably an EFA 4 arrow, black/black with red totem and stitching! It just looked so awesome :p
I have a cat quiver, an eagle flight and many basket quivers, because I keep making them.
I collect them. 10 or 20 , not sure.
11 for me, 8 of them are older Bear 4 arrow leather top quivers in the various styles. and one Cat quiver and a cordura belt quiver and a hand made leather back quiver.
I use 3 mainly 2 of the leather top's for hunting and the belt quiver for shooting.
Seven-
four back
three side
3 Cat Quivers,a pocket quiver,a Neet field quiver,a Steve Catts field quiver, and a back quiver
And there's me worrying that I'm too quivered up. Not enough in some cases. Thanks for the reality check. We're all willing to try one more,at least. I will be.
Thanks, that reminds me, I got more arrows in boxes that just don't look right not in a back quiver. Got 5 back quivers, 4 side quivers and one tournament type quiver from my wheel deal spell of life.Made all but two myself.
Now I got 8 dz. arrows made up that are lonely for a quiver, ummm.............
Wife just pointed out that they looks just great in their boxes.
i have one right now but plan on making at least one more. current one is a fox pelt back quiver.
Catquiver III
GFA quiver
MOak Kwikee
Quick III Kwikee
Leatherman side holster (for Kwikee)
Adams Arrow Holster
Sad thing is I use them all.. It depends on what type of hunting I will be doing. My GFA and Catquiver are my "goto" quivers... LOL
I hate you guys :D
I've been making due with a 4-arrow quiver I snatched off of my now retired compound. Put a string to it and it's sorta, kinda, almost a shoulder quiver
I just grabbed a used Safari-tuff off the classifieds.
Sooo....
I GOT'S ONE...and a half! :)
John3,
Could you explain how the arrow gets replaced in your Catquiver? It seems to me that the quiver would have to come off, but that can't be right.
Lots, still gotta find the perfect one,one of my best is a Asbell style that was made from a old metal frame Bear bow quiver. It works as well as any so far. Its fun to experiment and even make some with ideas from this site. I have another that I got in a Quiver trade last year from Eric W, it's a good one also.
4 bow
4 back
4 side
2 hip
2 more side on order, also making a couple side style basket quivers.
ooops :D
Too many! Like Dave, about a dozen or so. Most don't even get used like they should. :biglaugh:
I have 4 for 16 bows.
Arrowmaster
Selway slide on
Art Vincent Cruiser tournament
40+ year old pocket quiver
Pocket (Mikes Archery Leather)
1 Back (HomeMade)
2 Selway Slide-ons
1 Eagle Strap On (I Hunt With this one)
1 3D (MAL)
1 Neet Leather Target/ 3D
Couple more Assorted Nylon Target
I Think Thats All, SO FAR anyway!!
I see I'm in good company. I was thinking I may had developed a quiver fetish.
1 bear bow
1 EFA bow
1 KK bow
2 leather back
1 Safari tuff
1 side
1 pocket
and another back quiver ordered from MAL that I'm waiting for.
I don't use the bow quivers anymore and should trade them for another style.
I have two, a slide on Selway for hunting and a cheap vinyl hip quiver for target shooting. Both work well for what I need. That said, I have been eyeing the Kanati strap on quiver. They look great and have heard no complaints about them. Maybe for the upcoming fall deer season, I need to start saving my pennies.
6, but my Safari Tuff is the 'go to' now. While stumping, I'm using an el cheepo hip quiver because my ST is at home, and I am snowbirding. Wish I would have brought it along!
I think I have four or five bow quivers, Selways and a kwikee. I have two back quivers that I made and love. I have sheep fur on the top inside and at the bottom as well as under the shoulder strap and nice buckles. They are real quite with the sheep fur that cushons and holds them snug. I have a hip quiver I never use floating around somewhere.

I,ve had this thing about quivers for about 35 years,Steven Catts,Safari Tuff,GN-4,Selways,T-horns,etc,etc. Probably 30( or more)
Four and I keep them full. Pluse a sunday morning quiver for our weekly shoot.
How about none right now? Would you believe I went and sold the two I had? I was then forced to buy a different one. I don't know how that happened?! I have a used GFA quiver on the way. I'd like to get a back quiver for the fall as I'd like to give pheasent hunting a try. We shall see.

Howard Hill Back quiver
Jerry Hill Back Quiver
Art Vincent custom Back Quiver
Shell Scusniak custom Back Quiver(sorry Shell I know I butchered your last name,LOL)
Rick Dumas custom Back Quiver
Zipper bow quiver
Annawaki bow quiver
2 thunderhorn bow quivers
4 side quivers
is that enough,LOL.
I think I may have around 78 Kanati Bow Quivers
Stock of course(LOL) :D ;)
Just 5 right now for 3 bows.
German ridge possibles bag with 4 arrow quiver but I've got it traded off.
Mini cat quiver, collecting dust
A quickie quiver attached to a butt pack that I'm kinda liking these days.
A leather back quiver that I'm trying really hard to like. But the wife likes it a lot so its all good there.
And a pocket quiver that I won at the last TBOF. Trying to remember to use it when I practice but I'm so used to grabbing the arrows out of the target, walking back and sticking the arows in the dirt.
I'm still feeling guilt over the "how many bows" thread. I sure hope this does not go on to "how many arrows" and "tree stands" and "pairs of hunting boots", etc. etc.
Wow.... And I thought it was only me.
... mike ...
Three, one hip quiver, one side quiver and one bow quiver.
Unless I'm shooting broadheads I usualy just shove my arrows in my front side jeans pocket.
At least one hundred in stock. We try to ship the day after receiving an order. That's easy when someone orders one quiver (even a custom quiver) but when a dealer orders a large number of them it requires having them in stock.
Here is a new model we are putting together now.

At least 7 leather back and hip quivers a couple pocket quivers and too many bow quivers!
John
4 bow and 1 back quiver
A quick count and not taking belt or pocket quivers into consideration and I see twenty. I'm sure there are othes if I look harder.
So, what's considered too many?
Four bow quivers, 5 back quivers and two side quivers.
I have a bunch but the Safari Tuff is about to take over it is a great quiver and gets a lot of use even with the bows that have bow quivers on them.
2 back quivers - I made them , 1 bow quiver, I made it, 1 sides quiver, I made it. Same number for NW trad wife. I made hers as well.
To many!!
One Steven Catts Sidekick, one Thunderhorn bow quiver, five self made Plains style quivers and about twenty self made Hill style back quivers.
I use the Thunderhorn and two or three Hill style most of the time and the sidekick in bad weather...
Stefan
1 dozen ...
Just got my first back quiver from Boggs Leather works. It's currently my only quiver.
It's absolutely beautiful, but part of me wants to try a side quiver to see if I'll like it a little better. Might have to try to make myself one. Seems quiver collecting can be a bit addicting.
1 Buffalo Hide Back quiver which I made, one Idaho Leather Ranger side quiver, 4 Great northern bow quivers for 3 diffewrent bows.
1 but that just becuase that all i can afford
2 back quivers, I am thinking of adding a plains style.
8 I think
I have 2 right now. Soft Leather back Quiver and a Jerry Jeffer Basket Quiver that can be worn on the back or on Your side, like a plans quiver. I'm looking at a hip quiver now.
2 Selway recurve slide on bow quivers
1 GN adjustable strap on
1 Stalker side quiver
4 Kwikee Kwivers that I interchange on 2 Baker Quiver Caddies
But I really miss my old King back quiver.
About 5 or 6 and use 2 of them
2. A back quiver and a pocket quiver(I love that thing)
Have 1 that goes hunting all the time a side quiver. Have several back quivers OK WAY more than several that I like for Small game hunting, 3D shoots and stumping. Have one bow quiver that is because it came on a bow that was traded for.
