Title: Dayone Windstopper?
Post by: Ratatat on March 26, 2010, 12:19:00 AM
Does anyone have any experience with the Comformax IB windstopper lining used in dayone garments? Can't decide whether or not to get the lined or unlined version.  Thanks

Definately get the lined. I just got the fleece uninsulated parka with it. Can't wait for next year when it turns cold. I will use layers underneath to increase my warmth level if needed. I had already got the bibs but I got those in the insulated version w/ windstop. Nice stuff.

Windstopper IS the bomb. I can't see not having it. A simple piece of gear windstopped out performs all expectations.

I have windstopper in all my Day One pieces. It is the best out there.
I had a pair of Cabelas Wooltimate Pants with windshear. The windshear blocked 75% of the wind, where the Day One Jkt. blocked 100%.
