This was a real surprise as it had only been two days since I heard from Chuck that the vest was shipped, but it's here !!!
This is the first piece of wool clothing I have ever owned (other than merino under stuff). It is beautiful and fits like a glove and even makes this fat old guy look good, well maybe not :) . The colors are amazingly natural!! I won't have much chance to use it until fall but wow I love this thing. I really like the length and the fact that my arms are less bulked down...The deep pockets are great and the collar almost covers my whole head !!!! I've hunted in some extreme temps and can't wait to use it....
Great job Chuck

That looks nice!! Great colors as you mentioned and great pattern as well!
Looks great!
My personal motto is"Wool is the best, you can keep the rest"
Does this outfit make them in solid colors or plaid?
Tracy, (Fed Trapper, protector of sheep)
Shedrock, I'm not sure about the plaids but I think solids are easy. If you call Chuck he can answer all your questions.
This is the letter he sent me.
"We use 100% American wool from our sheep or other shepherds whom breed for colored wool"
This is top notch Quality Work....
I'm definitely getting one. First time i saw his stuff i knew it was quality. First class garment from first class guy!
Hey Kip, I am glad your happy with the vest, It looks like it fits just right. You may have to get to the high country yet this spring and see how it works. I think you will be pleased at how the natural colors just soak up the light and help you hide while hunting.
SHEDROCK: give me a shout, we can do almost anything you want. All of our wool is 100% natural colors and we have a bunch of shades.
Joey: did you shoot a turkey yet or are just letting RC get them all?
More later.
Chuck
Don't know if I'll make the high country before fall but this vest will be with me when I go!!
Thanks again Chuck I love it :)
Kip
Very nice color indeed.
WOW!! I know what I'm gonna be asking Santa for this year; hopefully he'll drop it off early before the temp drops. ;) Very nice vest!
Wow, that is an awesome looking vest! I really like it. Maybe Santa will be good to me this year LOL!

Looks Good Ron, Did that thing keep you warm last winter? I know it was a little extra thick and heavy. Looks cool Ron. Thanks
Chuck
Looks great. How coarse is the wool? I had a wool vest with a collar and found the pressure from the collar and coarseness of the wool to make it uncomfortable to wear fro extended periods of time.
maineac, This is my first piece of wool other than underwear (Moreno)...
I sat out on the deck last night and had a glass of wine with my beautiful wife dressed like you see in the picture. It was 48 to 50 degrees last night and I had to take the vest off after an hour. I was to warm :) The only other piece of clothing I had on was a long sleeve cotton/poly t-shirt (in the picture). I did not find it uncomfortable at all, just different and very warm.
Sure looks comfy!
Ron, I have never seen you look so good! :smileystooges:

And I would have looked even better if I had zipped the collar all the way up...right?
:biglaugh:
Why Ron, I never woulda said that.
