Title: 56" Black Swan Hybrid 1 piece or Sniper
Post by: fz4vgq on March 24, 2010, 04:30:00 PM
Does anyone have one of these ?  I'm thinking of ordering one. I have a measly 25.5" draw length. Wondering if the 56" hybrid or the shorter (50"?) Sniper model would be better for my short draw length. If any of you have pictures I'd love to see them.

Thanks,
fz

I've shot a sniper and the hybrid. The sniper stacks fierce after 27".I think it would be the better choice for someone with a shorter DL.

Either will work for your draw. The Sniper is only available in recurve though.

Thank You guys !

Vermonster13, those 1 piece hybrids are great looking bows !  Are the 1 piece bows cut to center or past ?

Thanks again,
fz

All of the Black Swans are cut to center to be shoot legal.

Why is it I don't see either of these bows on the website, only three piece t/d's

I have a sniper and while I do love the look and the speed I'm getting I do find it a bit critical on the shot. If you have to shoot a short bow, the Black Widow PSR is a much smoother bow to shoot and draw. It may not be as fast as the Sniper but it will be an arrow stacker.

I'd like to retract a bit on my Sniper statements, took it out today after working all day on my deck and with the right arrow, Beman MFX, that little son of a gun was spot on. Just might be my hunter this year, short, fast, spot on. Next test broadheads.
