Awhile back I started a thread on Pacific Yew bows and got some great pics and responses. After talking with Jay St. Charles, (who by the way is a super outstanding guy!), I made my order. Below is "Yew Betcha!", 64" 45# @ 29". This is going to be my special deer bow.

Thanks everyone! I just had to shoot it so, here are the results. It likes the brace height right at 6 3/4". Didn't like 145gr tips so, I put on some 125gr tips and after 3-3 round shots to warm up, I got this grouping at 15yds. AD Trad Lite, 29.5 bop.

Just a really nice bow!
very nice bow.looks like a smooth shooter.yew bows are unique..chris
Beautifull bow T.W.!!
Does that have glass on it or no?
Eric
Eric, it does have glass.
crookedwoody: it is a very smooth shooting bow and silent to boot. I'm not even going to put silencers on the string as it doesn't need them.
At the risk of starting something (which I hope not too, as it is just my opinion) but, this bow shoots better than my Hill did. :)
The thought had crossed my mind this very evening, "I wonder if that guy ever got the St. Charles he was talking about a couple of weeks ago"? Got my answer! Damn nice group, pretty bow as they always are  Almost dead silent ain't it?
Rusty
Rusty, the only other bow I'm going to pick up this summer is my PCH to prep for elk. The Yew bow will strictly be for deer as I am hoping to get my first with it! I had others I had hoped to take my first with but, this one will be the one I make it happen with.
awesome .... yew is my preferred wood and a straight bow is my go to bow .
What is the wait time on his bows? I had one a couple of years ago that was too much poundage for me and I had to sell it. I shot it as much as I could and knew I was going to hurt myself if I didn't get rid of it, loved shooting it.
Jarrod, Jay has some bows in stock. You might want to give him a call. He is great guy to deal with and he can answer any questions you have. I know what you mean about shooting it. I had to force myself to put it down last night and the only reason I did that is I started running out of shooting light. :D
Nice group and nice bow. good luck.
Good Looking Yew Bow!! Congrats on a Fine Bow Build!!
That's some nice looking yew TW. Made from a man who knows stickbows! Congrats. Hope you put it to good use this year.
Very nice bow! Goodluck come hunting season.

Same here.Mine has Yew limbs also. Lots of character.
Super nice. is it all wood or does it have fiberglass?
Bob, it does have fiberglass. I almost considered the t/d model but really love the one piece models. Very smooth for being only 64" and my 29" draw.
