:readit: Posted as a reminder for my early bird tradgangers in Michigan :biglaugh:
We have to wait till May 15th here in NY...makes absolutely no sense!!
Only reason I think it is scheduled here is to keep the steelhead and walleye protected during their spawn.
All year long, except there is no taking of game fish, bass, trout, peacock bass or saltwater game fish. Good thing lake victoria perch and mullet are excellent tasting non game fish.
Year round here, but I started last week. It got warm enough the carp are shallow and shootable.
Our season begins when the outside temperature reaches 70 degress for 3 days in a row...which is usually mid to late April.
I'm thinking about starting it pretty quick.
SOON I HOPE, I hear they are coming into the shallows. ;)

No time frame for us and we can go year round if we want.I don't useally go before May however.I hunt turkeys a couple weeks and when the weather gets warm enough for shorts,flip-flops and teeshirts I shoot fish. :)

Oh crap, I need a new license too! :biglaugh: Thanks for the heads up Chris!
Whenever You are able to go. This will be the first year it's legal to shoot Catfish in Kansas. :bigsmyl:
Year round in WV but my season usually doesn't start till I go to Florida every spring to visit my inlaws. 2 weeks and counting :bigsmyl:
Killed 60 or so in the Great Miami River near Dayton two weekends ago...fun night!
Hoping to try my hand at this year - been buying the licenses for a while, spose it'd be good to use it!
