Do you know what the country will be like??
Predator Fall Gray
Cabela's Microtex Light-check it out.
Sitka Gear, you won't be sorry.
Asat leafy suit wear it over anything. Or nothing!!!
I just want something light - looking to hunt hogs in alabama - southern georgia florida and texas.
I heard the sticks & limbs were real good in most situations.
It's going to be hot too so I would like a longsleeved shirt and some light pants. I will be getting some snake gaiters probably and use them with my Lowa Tibet boots.
Hopefully the lowas are snake bite proof.
ANyway keep it coming. I checked out the sitkas gear and my question would be what style of camo - they have many types.
Sorry for all the questions but I want something that is light and durable and quiet.
I hope to be able to use it here too in the early part of the season.
Thanks to everyone for their help so far
The ASAT leafy suit is about as versatile as I've seen.

I have to support the Leafy Suit also.I can't believe how well it hides you and is very light weight.
ASAT Leafy Suit.As previously stated wear it over other long clothes or use it with a t-shirt and shorts.
Asat all the way! I've used it from 90 above to 40 below. If it's really hot out I've just worn underwear under it.
have fun!
The leafy suits are nice with the mesh. The wind goes through. It lets your sweat evaporate. I have found it to be a little loud when when pulling back. Not too bad though. You might want to trim the leaves off your bow arm or use an arm-guard to keep it from fouling your string.
Look at Cabela's Super mesh maybe
Day One Camo makes a light weight fleece in ASAT also. It's VERY light weight, almost like a cotton T shirt in weight.
I've been wearing plaids or neutral colors for
hogs and deer with good luck.Pendleton shirts in wool or any plaid flannel shirt, depending on temp.I usually wear solid cargo pants in gray or brown.
Believe it or not, I've worn wool a lot this winter(southern Fl.),especially in the am.
For camo, I like ASAT or predator green.
I am leaning towards the asat leafy suit. I like the idea of this going over your clothes or whatever your wearing or not wearing.
The price is right too.

So I can't seem to get the leafy suit anywhere sold out until july (must be good)
so I opted for this from:
http://www.archerywarehouse.com/asat%20camouflage.htm
ASAT Camo Long Sleve T Shirt large
ASAT 6 Pocket BDU Pant - 34-36
ASAT Elite Base Layer Crew Large
Looks good.

If it was me, I would wear a longsleeve, light cotton, plaid shirt and light weight Carharts. I would be more worried about the pig's nose than his poor eye sight.
Well I will be able to use it other places too and early season here.

Ahhhmmm, why don't you just wear cotton long underware under your wool? that wool will keep the sun from drying out your drawers' and making you overheat, moist skin is cooler than dry-skin. Or you could dress like you are on an african safari; shorts, russell boots, green shirt. You are going to sweat no matter what, if you don't there will be problems.
Lightweight Cotton Columbia plaid shirt, light Redhead cargo pants.(taken May 1,2010, 84 (http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn66/tarponnut/lease016.jpg)degrees)
thanks guys...
Cotton long sleeve T shirt and pants and a thermacell.
In south Ga. if you wear a leafy suit from mesh and nothing but undies underneath you will get eat up by chiggers.Been there. It gets hot here. You will not want to wear clothes and then put something over that its to hot for it.During the yellow fly season I wear cloth gloves as well. RC
There is no cool way to hunt S. Florida from now till October. Be prepared to sweat buckets. Be very careful of your fluid intake. I take 2 700ml bottles in when hunting from stand. This past weekend it went from 65 to 85 in a matter of 3 hours.
Also consider your head gear. I wear this very light 5 dollar camo boonie hatfrom bass pro.. I cut the leafy stuff away from the front and cut slits in the top to allow head heat to escape.
I wear this boonie hat (http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_80479____SearchResults)
Another vote for the ASAT leafy suit. I love mine.
And another - ASAT leafy suit. Lightweight and extremely versatile being you can wear it over anything.
