I was talking with Jim this morning, and I can sell the new Sky entry level Recurve limb for $250. I've been shooting a set of them on our Mini 14 and our 16" for a week or more and I like them. Maple core, clear fiberglass back Black glass belly. Real good speed smooth and quiet. And made in the USA..
Bob, what kind of poundage increases are seen on the Mini14 and 16" risers above the listed ILF weights? Lengths for S/M/L with these two risers?
Hi Joe, right around 10# more, 40# Hoyt G3 would be about 50# at 28".
Bob, That's awesome news for both shops. Congratulations.
ILF is one of the reason bowyers can work together, I can't make a $250 limb and Sky can.
With our ILF riser we can put any limb we want on them.
What kind of speed are you getting with a 9gpp arrow out of them.
I watched jim shoot it thought chrono on Skype at 28 " 9 gpp and it was doing 195 fps, The fastest limbs I have ever tested where 199.3 Over $600.00
Thanks for the heads up.Sounds like a great limb at a great price.Just out of curiosity, what was the fastest limb?
That was a MK Vera, wood core carbon. it was .7fps faster than our foam and carbon. Most couldn't tell the difference in 195 to 199.
I agree about not being able to tell the difference.
I love the ILF limbs and a set at $250 that will perform with $600 limbs is outstanding.
Sounds good, any pics?
Sounds like a great combo from two of the best bowyers around..
2 bowyers working with each other? Sounds unusual in this day, but good job for both of you! Wis that would happen more often.
Steve
