Very, very nice Fred. I'm getting the same wood combo as well!!
Fred,
Looks GREAT
I knew what you were doing, but hadn't seen pictures yet. Nice choice.
We should get on the bow-a-month plan :D I am pretty close. I should have my TallTines turkey bow in time for the season.
Fred - those are some great looking curly myrtle lams! Love the way that wood looks.
I don't know where Brian gets his wood from but all the lams and riser woods are eye-popping, which doesn't make it any easier to pick a wood combo.
That ones a looker for sure. Can't wait for mine.
Sweet!!! :notworthy: Perfect specs for me when you get tired of it. :biglaugh:
Bill
Great bow! Brian is a great guy and great to deal with, plus his bows are awesome. I love mine more and more every time I shoot it.

Jr.
Very nice, congrats on a beauty of a bow!
Wow that is a beautiful bow,the limbs look awesome, congrats!
Nice looking bow, enjoy!
Fred,
Are those antler limb tips? Did you get antler knobs or just the standard black ones?
That is a great looker for sure.
Steve, Yes they are antler limb tips and yes on the antler knobs as well. Brian mailed the bow tuesday so I'm expecting it today or tomorrow.
Nice wood combos. I really like it.
Well the bow got here a little over an hour ago and I couldn't wait to unpack it and get it strung. Shot about 20 arrows out of it at first and it was dead on the money, shooting to my point of aim. The string didn't have any silencers on it and while not excessive it had a bit of a twang. I then put my quiver on it and another string that Allen Shafer made for me that did have silencers on it and WOW!!! dead on and dead silent!!! After shooting another 25 or so arrows I called Brian to thank him for such a phenominal piece of work. Beautiful as it is deadly!!!!
very nice.
UH HUH.....that is exactly the report I expected to hear.
I'm glad you like the bow....how bout that GRIP RIDGE.....whatcha think about that?
That's a beautiful wood combo you chose.
Enjoy.
I'd be surprised if you will be able to hit the target. If i were to shoot that bow and hit where I was looking I would shoot it in half. LOL
Nice looking bow
Billy, I love the grip...its consistent shot after shot.
Fred,
The myrtle is absolutely stunning! Glad to hear it performs as well as it looks!! On my list to order for sure. Enjoy :)
Kevin

Looking good 1/4away I'm hoping to get a call from Brian by mid-April.
I am another new convert Fred, congratulations on your beauty too!
It looks even better all decked out Fred.
The antler tips and knobs really set it off nicely.
Yep, it looks even better put together!!
Wow does that look nice!
Josh
Also mine must be ready for April.
oooooooohhhhhh Abowyers...classy bow AND classy broadheads :saywhat:
Nice looking Bow
Fred,
What arrows and what weight broadheads are you shooting? Thanks!!!
Bill
Bill, I'm shooting Trad Only 400's with 100gr steel BH adapters and 160 gr Abowyer Brown Bear broadheads. Total weight just over 600grs.
That is one beautiful bow!!!
i've seen this bow up close and had the opportunity to shoot it for a bit. my honest assessment... shocky, slow, and unbelieveably inaccurate. pretty hard to look at too. oh wait, that was the bow i shot in gym class i was thinking about... :biglaugh:
hmmmm, let me think. oh yeah the TT shot great. now i remember!! the bow is a beauty and very well mannered. congrats fred!!
Mike, You forgot to mention how you tried to sneak my TT into your car.....LOL
no no fred, that was my mischievous children. they mistook the bow for a nice new toy that was for them. don't be so hard on them though.. ya know they're young. :biglaugh:
Good looking wood, that is a Wessel trait. I am sure the riser has a repeatable grip. Enjoy!!
Fred you have set it up nicely
Fred, what brand of quiver is that? 4 or 5 arrow?
Mark, It's a Thunderhorn 2 Point quiver. It's actually a 6 arrow quiver but you can slide out the rubber arrow grippers and carry and space as many arrows as you like. I only carry 4 broadheaded arrows...2 blade BH's aren't a problem carrying 6 but if you shoot 3 or 4 blades it gets a little tight and this quiver allows you to carry 4 or 5 without the BH's or fletching hitting one another.
