Title: About Saxon Selkirk recurve

Hello.

Have you guys information about Selkirk bow. Is there any recomended arrow weight? i mean, can i shoot light arrows with it?

I would say around 9 grains per pound minumum.50# bow 450grain arrow or close to that.I had one and dont remember any special recommendations or minumum arrow eight suggestions.Seems like about 8 or 9 grains per pound is a general minumum recommended by most bowyers.Some of the ILF type bows seem to shoot lighter weight arrows though from what I have read.Brace hieght about 7.25 on the Selkirk is a good starting point.

im shooting 8.4 gpi with standard insert 145 grn head on 30" arrow -55#@28 shoots just fine,but im working on getting a little more mass wieght for hunting,
