Traded for this little bow last weekend and was wondering if anybody knew anything about them. Pretty sweet little shooter! Its stamped 37@28 on one side and 1299 on the other, right below the leather grip wrap.

You might want to post this on the Collectors Forum... Archery Archives is a websight that has lots of information on old bow manufactures, you could try there as well

Very nice looking old bow.
That store is literally one mile from me. They no longer sell archery or hunting equipment. I could ask the owners about the bows maybe he'll know.
Thanks guys, I'll post it over on the collectors forum and see what I come up with. Charlie, I'd be interested to hear what the owner of the store knows. Not a big deal really. I was just curious. It really is a sweet shooting little bow. I picked it up as a lighter bow to work on my form with but I can see it being used for small game. It flat slings a pretty heavy arrow for its lite draw.
That's a fine looking bow. Great find.
I talked with the store (Goldstocks)yesterday. The Guy who was working remembers when they stopped selling bows about 10 years ago. He admitted even though they sold bows, they really didn't know anything about them.
There is another guy in the area I can talk to. He is somewhat well versed in trad since his son used to shoot a lot. He even carries a line of Martin/Howatt bows.
Sorry I haven't been much help.
Hey Charlie,
Thanks for trying. Not a big deal really. I was/am just curious. Pretty common that a store sells bows, knows nothing about them. Pretty rare that they'd admit it,even after the fact. :-)
Thanks for trying....
