Here is my first go-round at the cresting bench. As the process went on, I started getting a better feel for the right thicknes of the paint, too think wont spread right, too thin wont cover. Just like Goldilocks, I had to try a few to find out what was "just right". Lots of fun !

Wow great job.
Looks like you've been cresting arrows for years. Great job!
Thanks guys for all the kind remarks. These are AD Hammer Heads. 6 trad / 6 lite.
All bohning products, white dip, orange and black stipes w gold highlights. 5" Trueflight shield Orange barred/trad barred feathers.
I will be putting on Bohning classic nocks once I get the correct nock inserts, but for now am using ADs nocks. I am trying them out with the 100gr brass inserts and starting w 125gr FPs. Will adjust point weight to dial them in. Thats about 660gr for the trads and 620gr for the lites. The hit the target with a big thud.
I am focusing on tuning first to my BW PSAV w FF and 58#. I am using it on a hog hunt in 51 days.
Sweet.
Excellent job for your first time!!!
