I'm looking into a reflex/Deflex t/d longbow. Anyone have any recomendations? I want something very compact.
Look up Mike Miller (aka Elk Ninja on here). He builds a pretty nice bow. I sure like mine.

Fox Archery makes a great bow called the Royal Crown. The Centaurs are pretty attractive in their lines too.
Are they t/d & whats the amo?
Might want to check out the Thunderstick Mag. 56-60". I've been told he will do a takedown if requested.
They both make t/d bows. The Centaur's are as short as 54". I don't know about the Fox bows. Ron's a good guy to talk with...give him a call.

What is your draw lenght and the bow length you are looking to get? Do you want a 2 or 3 pc. TD?
I have several I like but my favorite TD Longbow is still a Pronghorn quick silent and fast.
Tough to beat and a tough bow.
My cents only. YMMV
If it were "compact" that were my focus, I would look for a Shrew, Kanati, Black Creek Banshee or Treadway Black Swamp.
IF I wanted the best R/D bow in the 62-64 range, Toelke "Whip", by a long country mile.
Can't go wrong with a Treadway!!!
Bill
I 2nd what Bill said cannot go wrong with a takedown treadway. Flint
Big Jim (sponsor) makes a two-piece RD longbow. Big Jim's Buffalo Bows are mighty sweet! Many fine compliments written in this forum about Jim and his bows.
Also, a slide show by Coaster500...

I've got a Roy Hall Navajo Scout 62" takedown.
reallylike it.
I'm looking for 3 piece 54"
I second the Roy Hall Navajo Scout Bows. Great, quiet bows and smooth shooters.
Dwyer Long Bows. The Endeavor model should be just what you are looking for. 58" fast and quiet as a wisper. dwyerlongbows.com 525.00 new good luck in your quest.
Morrison Shawnee or Cheyenne are both 3 Piece bows. With an A size riser and A size longbow limbs you get a 54 inch bow. With B limbs you get a 56 inch bow.
I have no ideas on a bow that short and 3 pc. I am sure that Morrison would be nice.
If 2 pc. was an option I would say Shrew classic hunter all the way. You could go 52 or 54 and people with longer draws could still shoot it.
54"er? . I had a Treadway one piece 54"s .Don't know about a 3 piece that short.
Abe Penner at Cari-bow makes a very nice R/D longbow called the "Wolverine" it comes either as a two piece takedown or a one piece, both 58". It's definitely worth checking out.
Hi All,
I've got a Tomahawk TD that I'm really pleased with....see 3Rivers Archery.
Thunderstick MOAB is 60" of speed and quite.
