can anyone tell me if a 2007 hunter50@28 and a 2010 savanna52@28 is ff approved? and if so what string material is best. :archer:
I was just on the Martin site and I believe they are ff compatible. The material may well be up to you. I personnaly do not have any ff strings.
I use 450+ and D97 on my Martin Savannah and Bamboo Viper.

how many strands?
My Martin Savannah has had many FF strings.
8 strand 450+
10 strand Ultra Cam
14 strand D-97
10 strand d-97
10 strand 8125
All are FF material.

Wildgame I shoot a 6 strand 450+ on my 55# Savannah,8 strand D97 on my 50# Bamboo Viper and 8 strand 450+ on my 65# Bamboo Viper and 6 strand 450+ on my 45# Venom.
I used to have both these bows. When I asked Martin if they were FF compatible, they told me that the strings that come with these bows are a fast flight type string called double helix. As such any other type like D97 would be fine.
My Savanna uses d-97 14 strands...

I still have a B-50 on my Hunter because its dialed in well now, thought about a fast flight but haven't put one on it yet but I have a Tommahawk fast flight from 3- Rivers on both my Savannah's.
thanks everyone.. :archer:
