I'm shooting a 66" Horne's combo hunter 51# @ 28" that I draw to 29" been shooting 3555 gold tip cut to 29.5" with 145gr up front and 3gpi tube. Should I be shooting the 5575 gold tip for more consistent flight?
Sounds like you should be pretty close with what you have. Might try playing with point weight.

Mike's right, you should be very close now.
I shoot 30.5" 55/75's with 250gr up front (100gr insert and 150gr point) off my 50# at my draw length (29.5") Sarrels longbow. They paper tune perfect and fly like darts.

I agree with Mike, you should be pretty close. I don't mess with the weight tubes, but that shouldn't make that much difference in spine. Mess around with the tip weight and I think you will find the "right" flight.
Anything in the mid 50's I always end up with 35/55 and 175 - 200 grains on the end. Your close, and I think you would only find more of a headache if you went to the 55/75.
i have a little longer draw but i bet a full lenght 5575 with brass inserts and a 175 or 200 tip would be great, this way you have a higher foc without the weight tubes and probably close to same total weight of the 3555
I would do something to get rid of the weight tubes just not my cup of tee. Try a 5575 think you may like it.
Weight tubes can make them act week. That sounds backwards, but is what I have expericenced personally.

Yep, get rid of those tubes, nothing but pain in butt. Get 200 or 250 up front and you will be away to the races.
I am 50# and am using 35/55gt's at full length with 200gr tips. They bare shafted awesome for my bow. I left them about 1 inch tail left (weak) to compensate for the 5" feathers.
I'm shooting 55/75's cut to 28" with a 50gr brass insert and 200 gr point out of my 55lb palmer recurve. They fly great and really did a job on the hogs this year.

Have you bare shaft tuned the 3555's? For my personal arrows I always bare shaft tune any new carbon shaft to find the optimum length. I recently tuned some 3555's with 145 gr. points and they ended up shorter than I wanted in my 45# bow.

I shoot both out of my 53@30 pronghorn LB. The 35/55 with 125 gr point weigh 430gr or 8gr pp. My 55/75 have a 100gr brass insert 125gr point and weigh 525gr or 10gr pp...PR

I shoot a 60" recurve 54# @ 29 with 29.5" goldtip 3555 with a 200gr. tip. They shoot perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. They also shoot great out of my 48# bow.
