Title: 3 Tree Strings
Post by: rock_hunter on March 09, 2010, 02:56:00 PM
I had ordered a string for my recurve from Tony at 3 Tree Strings, and when it arrived in the mail the serving was too large, making my nocks fit extremely tight on the string.  I emailed Tony and asked him if he though reserving it would help, and he said it might or might not.  Instead of that being the end of it, he made me a new string with smaller serving and got it to me very quickly.  Even though I have only bought strings from 3 Tree Strings, the williness to go above and beyond has made me customer for life.  I'm sure there are other great places to have strings made, but Tony really does a fine job and stands behind his strings.

Tony is a great guy. Never had a problem with him.

I ordered a string from him and mentioned that I needed one right away because I didn't like my back up string. In a few days I got my new string and a new back up string.

I buy all my TS-1 strings from Tony and for my customers. Great service and will work with you if you have any concerns.

I have Tony's phone numbers on my cell phone and I have had nothing but excellent service and a willingness to please from him ever since I ordered my first string from him. Top notch in every way.

Did I see where he is dropping the TS-1 strings?

Perhaps the confusion comes from Brownell who changed TS-1 and now calls it TS Plus.  They actually changed the material about 2 years ago, but sometimes names stick.  I don't know what the exact change was, I think the material changed when the name changed, but I cannot keep track of all the string options.
