I like one piece recurve bows that are 64"-66" in length, preferably 66". Does any bowyer make a one piece recurve in a 64"-66" length with 19" risers?
contact www.recurves.com. (http://www.recurves.com.) He's a sponsor here and he stocks a 64" 1 piece Kings Pawn that is a beauty.
I think Wes Wallace, Brackenbury or Blacktail would work.
Acadian Woods makes a 64-inch. Not sure about the riser length.
I don't see it on his site today, but I believe sponsor Ric Anderson of Marriah bows was building a beautiful 66" recurve for some time. Maybe you could still talk him into making one...
Hawkeye is correct in that I do offer a 66" one piece recurve. It's called the East Wind 66. It was actually designed many years ago by Washington's Del Eatmon. When Del passed away the bow form and other necessary info regarding the bow formula went to Don Smith from Colorado. Don wanted me to produce the bow so he shipped the form up to me. It's an interesting design in that it has a very long riser which give the bow pretty short working limbs in regards to its 66" total length. It also has 2" wide limbs vs the more normal 1 3/4" recurve limbs. All of that translates to real good performance. The length and limb width makes it very stable. If anyone is interested in seeing a picture of it you can go to www.webshots.com (http://www.webshots.com) and do a search for marriah bows.
I went to the website and it looks very nice. I took the liberty of posting the direct links to the enlarged photos.
