I sell the Webster...no custom bow leaves my shop without one. IMO...best on the market.
I like the Webster better for most purposes, but occasionally the Selway Limbsaver works better when the bow tip is short enough that the groove in the tip goes into the top pocket of the Webster and you cannot string the bow. The solution for the Webster is to put a short string or some cloth or some leather into the top pocket so that the groove is exposed. I have both stringers and each is very good, but I use the Webster exclusively because I like it a lot better.

The Webster has 2 pouches on top. One for larger limb tips and one for smaller. Plus the heavy webbing to stand on is a plus.
just got a webster this year....... awesome stringer!!!!!
I used a Selway for many moons. Works very well. I noticed I really had to strain to use it on 60# plus bows to get 'em strung up. So, I bought a Webster to try. Much easier to string my heavier recurves. I really like the Webster, but....Mine started tearing the threads loose on the lower limb cup after a few dozen uses. It was used on several recurves up to 65#. I have gone back to my Selway for now. I am going to make a new stringer from heavier cord and leather. I recieved the instructions from another tradgang member. I'll let the gang know how it works out. Jim
