If you are talking about the Lone Wolf Bows made by John Maus in Michigan, I don't own one but I have a couple friends that have them (longbows). I am not a longbow guy but I have shot theirs and they are smooth as silk and the craftsmanship is beautiful. I am sure someone will weigh in in this one...

There is a long wait, I'm would imagine a year plus. Attention to detail is next to none. I personally own one custom ordered bow and really like it. The bow has the convex limbs similar to the ACS, however the concave is opposite as what OL does. Shootability is very nice, dead in the hand. Perfect tip to tip balance, and an outstanding locator grip. I would suggest his ultra limb core which is all bamboo with carbon. All in all it is a bow that stays out on my rack and gets shot. Not a dust collector. LF

John Maus makes an excellent bow - recurve or longbow. The craftsmanship is second to none and the shootability of any of his bows is also second to none. I not only own one of his longbows but so do my daughter and son in law. I also have several friends who have them. Absolutely top notch in all respects. If the wait is now over a year, I guess one of Michigan's best kept secrets is out.

One correction I must make. I said that the Lone Wolf was similar to the ACS in limb design. It would be difficult for me to compare the Lone Wolf I own to an ACS because I have never owned an ACS. I have been on OL's custom list for several years and will one day own an OL Adcock bow. However, I retract the similarity comment because I really don't know. Sorry for any misleading information.
