Trad Gang

My daughter  wants to pass on her first recurve to a child that is in need of one. The ONLY stipulation is that the winner please post pictures. A few years ago I gave away my first longbow  and I had asked  the winner several times to please post pictures of it, and they never had the courtesy to do so. I refuse to let one bad experience spoil it for the rest of the fine folks of Tradgang.  The winner will be picked by my daughter on March 14th that should give everyone who wants in a chance.. So here it is!

The bow is a Ranger recurve 20@24". My wife and I bought it for her new from Black Widow a couple years ago. She has a differnt one that she won from Dave AKA Vermonster13..Thanks again Dave!. The condition is 9.5 out of 10. We will pay for shipping to! Good luck to all who enter       :clapper:

My daughter is 11 now and outgrowing her old bow. This bow is right up her alley. I just showed her this thread and she thought this was a great gesture. Also told her if she did get chosen she would need to return the favor when she outgrew it with a similar post.

I have a 5 year old next door that shoots my bows all the time.  Of course he can only draw them a few inches but he loves it.  I've had my eye out for a youth bow for him this would be perfect.  Please put me in.

I wouldn't be for my kid but there is a little girl down the way that loves archery. She has 5 siblings and she is the only one that shoots. She has a little plastic bow, hay bale and 4 arrows. I see her out there all the time shooting. Maybe it is a way for her to be different and get away from her Brother and Sisters for a while. Anyway, throw Prisilla's name in the hat please.

My grandkids were out to the cabin today and Colton brought a friend.
His bud had never shot a bow before today.
When they were finished the 3 older boys jumped the creek and went exporing.
About a buck and a half later they returned.
Throw my name in the hat for Coltons friend.

Tell your daughter I said well done! Then high 5 her for me. You've done well.

Please enter my son Hunter, he is 4 and really wanting to take up shooting with dad. He does not like his little compound, he wants to shoot a bow like dads. Tell your daughter thanks this is a great gesture.

Very nice gesture.  My grandson has had two bows passed down to him from outside my family.  He has passed the first one on after outgrowing it, and is using the second.  It is a great lesson to learn for a young person. You embody the spirit of Traditional hunters,as is my grandson's benefactor.
