I have a dozen new arrows a new thunderhorn boa quiver and all the off season to get ready for bow season.I am going to sell my crossbow and my compound bow and hunt exclusively traditional from now on.I've shot my Browning Wasp for years but hunted with it only once and missed a doe right under my stand and still couldn't commit to trad only.No more excuses from now on!
Right on!! Practice a lot and stay with it. You'll be glad you did!!
You go boy
Shot with a guy today who shot 60X's for score using a hi tech compound. He showed more emotion afterward when he got to loose some arrows for the first time from a recurve.
If you're ready to make the jump.....you'll know it. Sounds like you are.
All I can tell you is.....go full-bore and don't look back. You'll be ready.
Good luck. I look forward to the hero pics!
sounds great
Ah... Sweet release!! "In more way's than one" Jason
Very good decision. You'll love it.
Larry
good luck Buddy "Stick" with it
Its not hard, just a little different till you get used to it.
Just shoot and have fun!
For me, traditional is more about the journey than the destination. Congrats on your decision. Stay at it and enjoy the ride!
Excellent choice, keep us posted.
I have made the same decision. Did the 30x deal with a wheel bow. Won a bunch of 3D Events over the years. I am having a lot more fun learing the skill of Traditional Archery. I shoot in our Archery Clubs Indoor Paper punching Winter League with my Traditional Equipment and every night get a couple guys wanting to try it out after we are finished. Everyone has a blast.
Archery has became fun again . My biggest hurdle is going to be the Great Day I draw my AZ Elk tag. I am setting on 12 points and it should come soon. Take care , Randy
Good choice, I'm just getting started & found this place is the best I have found for traditional archery.
Good for you ,you made the right move. Keep with it. Nothing but fun and great rewards for your practice efforts.Remember shoot straight and aim small.

Remember to keep shooting fun and interesting. Do as much stump and 3D shooting as you can this summer.

Fun first is a good direction.
