Tracy
Awesome Tracy!
I thought this was a cool rack, Look how the brow tine comes right down into the base instead of off the beam.

Looks like Your Son has payed attention over the years Tracy. He knows the spots doesn't He. LOL
bretto
Yes, He has Brett and it's so fun to see him having such a good time at it. I can't wait to get my other son back from college this year so we can all bow hunt together. :D
They have only found one matched pair so far.
One other thing this rack and the one behind it all chewed up both have pieces of skull plate on them and are not true sheds. They said they weren't that far apart either must be some ruff fighting going on.
Brett, Did I send you picks of Tress's buck from last year?
Tracy
:bigsmyl:
Good drops Tracy! I haven't got a chance to get out yet, still working on the house since "the flood". With any luck I can get out the latter part of the week.Keep loking and showing us lots of pics! Ben
Nice!!
Yes Tracy I saw pictures of His Buck. It was a dandy. :clapper:
I sure hate to see the dead ones always makes me wonder what happened to them. This one had some potential too. :scared:
Tracy
Nice sheds.I wish i could hind some like those in my area.
Tracy, what part of Kansas you from?
I hunt up around the frankfort,Marysville area.
I have family in Holton KS.
Thanks,Ken
Central eastern Kansas.
Good deer up in the Holton area too. :D
Tracy
Good deer in most of KS.
Great sheds wish I was up there looking for some today.
I seen a pig of a deer by Yates Center while heading up to my hunting area in Nov.it was a monster.Be nice to find his sheds.
Good luck and keep post'em,I want to see more!
Wow, those are some great finds! You sure have some fantastic deer around your area!
In all the years of running around down here in Alabama i have only found a handfull of sheds. Not sure if its because its so thick or i just dont put in the leg work. Man you guys must have some great deer to be finding sheds like that, congrads.
joevan, you probably are not doing anything wrong. I have looked with friends in some of the southern states and it is extremely difficult to find them in those areas.
Tracy, I hope you find the biggest one of the year so you can have the last laugh!

Me too :D
Nice sheds there bud!! Looking forward to seeing you stand over that big split brow tine boy next fall!
Tracy,
What is your thoughts on that match set that your son found...Those brow tines are huge. Is that just a young deer with tons of potential or old deer that has a poor rack? Hard to speculate without seeing the deer but thought I would ask your opinion in case you had seen the deer this last season.
Cool no matter what!
Tracy,
You guys are having some fun,Thanks for the pics.Keep em coming.say 'Hello" to Tress & your Mrs for me.
Joevan, We don't find sheds every time were out at all. I hate to no how many miles I have walked and found nothing but it still feels good to get out of the house after a long winter.
Thanks Stone Sheep and everybody else :bigsmyl: We are still looking for some bigguns we saw last year and my son did see a big bruiser still packing while looking so there still dropping and will for awhile longer.
Tracy
Chris, Like you said it's hard to know with out seeing the owner but it looked like a young buck rack and those brows are awesome. He really has some potential. They found that set at Danny's place so I will see if he has any trail cam picks of him. :)
I did get out for a short walk yesterday by my house and did find one side of a rack but it was really chewed up. Here is what I saw first....
I wasen't even sure it was a horn till I got closer. I looked and looked for the rest but nothing.
Then about a 150yds farther under a big ceder tree I saw this.
Looks like a matched pair color wise. Sure hate to see them chewed up so bad but other critters need the mineral too.
Thanks everybody for looking, I hope we can find some more to show ya. Gives me a good excuse to get out and shoot some stumps and break in my new Mohawk bow before turkey season. :D
Tracy
Looks like we both had a good walk after talking on the phone bud
Great sheds!
Thanks for sharing. Oh sweet Kansas!
