Title: PSE Kudu as a bowfishing bow?
Post by: GMMAT on February 27, 2010, 03:10:00 PM
If this is in the wrong section, I apologize.

I have a chance to pick up a PSE Kudu for use as my bowfishing bow.....for $150.

It's a second-hand bow.  But it's never been shot by the owner, more than a few times (One of my landowners bought it, but bought a compound at the same time).  It's got a flipper rest and nothing else, but it has the inserts installed (to mount a reel to) and it has the insert for a stabilizer (if I chose to use that mount for a reel seat).

Worth it?  I'm probably gonna buy it....just to help her out, anyway.  But, I was hoping it would make a good bowfishing bow.

58" / 50#

Thanks, guys.

Sounds like it will work great as a bow fishing bow.

I'm also looking for an old bow for bow fishing too. I have a want add in the classified forum.

Can't wait!

The bow will work out fine for you, but you can pick up a PSE Kingfisher kit, everything you need for bowfishing for $140 or less

PSE Kudu was my first recurve.  I liked it just ended up upgrading.

I am thinking like Skipmaster1  though, for the money you can get the Kingfisher and just head out fishing.

Good luck!
