Just got my new Addiction Recurve. Shot today. Great shooting bow. Comments at the pro shop. Really like the finish. Sharp looking bow. Very light. Quiet! All I heard was the feathers from the arrow.
I especially liked the grip. Super comfortable and repeatable. Very smooth draw. Its a winner and will be my Turkey blind bow this spring.Even fresh from the box ya gotta like the curves!

that sure looks nice mike
any predictions on if its gonna be kickin my butt tomorrow
:biglaugh: Too early to tell Kevin, but I'm betting it will kick a turkey's butt this spring.
Thanks for looking, Thanks for showing!!!
Great looking bow Mike!!
Nice bow bud - What length
54" Jerry. I draw @29 and it shoots very smooth. I liked it better than the 56" model. All my other bows are 60" T/D and I feel just as comfortable shooting this one piece 54".
Nice bow, looks like she will be a shooter for sure!
Those black limbs should disappear in a blind. Good luck with the turkeys, hope to see some success photos with that one!
Bow looks sweet, shot it yet?
Looks good Mike. Don
very sweet bow , whats the weight?
Looks like a sweet bow.
The weight is 50#@28. Bow is 54". I'm really pleased with my first shoot around with her. Thanks Don,(batman), for your arrow help last year and your help at the KaZoo Expo
they are great shooting bows.
Mike
Glad your enjoying the Addiction!!!! Send me some turkey pics as soon as you make some meat. Thanks for your business!!!

Hmmm..only saw quivers. Is there a seperate archery company?
I like your wood choices. Sharp looking bow!
cost?
You can contact John Dill at Anneewakee Archery for details. He is working to update his site to include the bows. MY bow is the standard model and was $595. There are other options, and the stippled grips are REALLY nice.
that looks like a killer for sure. i love short little bows. :notworthy: :)
Very nice looking bow!

Mike those turkeys are in trouble...
just got back from shooting mikes new addiction
what a great bow
easy on the eyes smooth as cream at my 30 in draw
good speed ,no hand shock
its a real winner in my opinion
the turkeys are in real trouble this yaer
kevin
Besides the 54", what other lengths are offered??
Bill
I know there is a 56'er. Not sure if there is anything else. I really wanted to shorten up for shooting out of my pop-up blind, and for me I shot the 54"er better. Back in 94' my buddy Tom Cable made a great 54" recurve that I shot and loved. I "forgot" how great these shorter bows perform and I think my 3 under makes it even better. I'm still not giving up my 60" Zippers though :archer:
Wow nice bow!! Great choice of wood and glass!!
Nice bow and I bet it draws sweet...
brace height?
My-t-fine-ice looking bow, Owlbait. Trad bow shooters and "addictions" just seem to go hand in hand - :D
I got to test one of these last year at Hickory.Even for a longbow man i love these little curves. They are very well made and i bet you could easily get a quiver to match.I think i might need one of these to spill blood this fall.
Thats what I love about this bow design. Short with no stack and quick!
Bernie, Preston
Good to hear from you fellas!
Sweet looking bow. A bow like that would come in handy in some of the brushy coastal areas here in Oregon. Hmmmmmmmm.
Glad your enjoying the bow Mike! Just curious what type of arrow setup tuned for ya? mine likes about anything a little on the stiff side.
Lee, I'm shooting 29 1/2" AD HammerLites with 145-175 up front. 3 5" shields, LeftWing. My 400 spine Victory pinks shot well with 225 up front with the same size fletch. I'm anxious to get out side and shoot some broadheads and shoot a few more weights to see what happens.
Recommended brace height- 8 1/4-8 1/2". Riser is rosewood/burgundy dymondwood. Limbs have three actionboo lams. I hear Lee is working on a 52" also
Got Lee making one for me right now. Heck he might be doing some sanding at this moment, fingers crossed!!! I seen the little 52 he has been messing with, sweet little bow right there. I seen your bow Owlbait before she went to the Post Office, congrats I was jealous thats why I had to order one. Lee's bows are so smooth and the grips feel great, they fit me very well. I'll get pics up when I get mine.
52"? Oh no - shouldn't have read that...
Looks like the cats out of the bag........
I'm sorry if I was supposed to be hush mouthed on the 52". Us Northern boys don't read the code so well! What wood are you getting ckanous? I almost wish I had the stippled grip put on, it is great, but I like the grip like it is too!
Mike
Its no secret. I hope to include this length to our Addiction line soon. We just need to field test it a little longer. I think you might be up for the job after you smoke a few turkeys with that new 54 incher!!! ;) :D
What is the brace height in those pics?
Brace height in my pics is 8 1/2" from throat of grip. John, I shot a league tonight and the guys were impressed with the "little" bow. The finish got a lot of attention but I told them the best features for me was the smooth draw and the comfortable grip.
I am doing a Yellow/Black diamond wood with black glass and Osage and black overlays. I talked to Lee tonite and he hopes to have a finish on it by tomorrow, can't wait looks like I'll be leaving work early!!!! And yes I will have pics as soon as its done. The stippled grips feel real good but I opted for a smooth grip, I figured I could change it later if I wanted to.
I didn't know you could add the stippling later. BONUS!
Lee, if your still lurking, what kind of finish do you use. It really looks great.
Owl thats a secret formula we brew up in the hollars down behind the house late at night and keep under lock and key!LOL (thunderbird) Epoxy. Hoot
Got it Thursday and been shootin the hound out of it!! I finally got time to take some pics so here they are. This is by far the best bow I have shot, your the man Lee!!!!

Great looking bow!!! Lee sure knows his stuff. Is that a home made quiver on that bow? I'll see you guys at Sisipahaw!
Thanks John, he did pretty good didn't he! Its a EF that I modified awhile back.
Cool. John you going to bring one to the shoot?I am not much on short bows but did pull one back and it was very smooth.Might have to open up and actually shoot one of them. :( ;)
James
After you shoot one of these "Addictions" You will be addicted(LOL)! Glad its getting that time of year. I always look forward to seeing you guys!
Great lookin bows! An all black one would be killer in a turkey blind
I'm slow - but I'm still looking, thinking, and watching, all the time, every post re the "AA"s- :archer:
