Title: Bear quiver replacement arrow gripper
Post by: inrut on February 27, 2010, 07:58:00 AM
Has anyone used the replacement arrow gripper from 3 Rivers on a Bear 4 arrow bow quiver? How is it?

I've used a couple of them, They are durable and functional, but fit a little loose on 5/16 shafts.
I bugged 3Rivers enough they put me in contact with the guy who makes them and he made me one a bit tighter.
You can also salvage them out of the newer bolt on models that are often available for near nothing.

I purchased and use one.  They hold 11\\32" shafts tight, but don't know about anything else as that is all I shoot.

There are white fiber reinforcement threads in the rubber that can be seen on the cut ends.  I didn't like the way they looked so I used a black Sharpie to mark them out.  Other than that one minor complaint, it works well and holds the arrows in.  That is all you can ask for.  I would like to see an 8 arrow replacement.
