Just wanted to share my experiences with my "new to me" Mojostik 54@27. Got it from Matt Meachum here at the gang, and she's a beauty, all Bacote. I have a 27" draw, and it plain smokes a 9.1 gpp (491 grains) Carbon Express Maxima with 235 grain points. I haven't chrono'd it, but it's fast to me. Also shoots heavy arrows (642 grains)exceptionally well. I had my heart set on a BW PCH, but am not sure it could beat the performance for the price of this bow. Just wanted to share, and if you get the chance to shoot one of these, you should. Mark
JD makes a fine bow. Congrats! Now lets see some pics.
I really liked the one I had and then grew another 1 1/2" of draw length. I found the short bows a little to short and stout for me after that, but it sure was fast. I would love a 60" on of these days, but the PCH is calling me also. I am sure the BW is not any faster if as fast as the mojo. JD builds a great bow. Congrats on yours!
Great bows and bowyer. If you like the mojo you need to shoot the Kajika.
I have two of them and have had the same experience.I have never chronoed them either but they sure seem to throw a heavy arrow hard.I also have a friend that bought 2 Mojos after shooting mine and I got to shoot them recently.Very nice. His 60#er is a beast. Those bows are a tremendous value.
Jim has a new "little" secret weapon he designed and will be coming out soon that I think many will enjoy. ;)
I'm not a recurve guy but I flat out love my Voodoo's and I can definitely see me trying out a Mojo pretty soon!
My Whisperstiks love heavy arrows! All these were drawn to 29.5" and shot 571 grain Easton AXIS.
