I couldn't believe it!! My new-to-me MOAB 60" 47@28 was mailed from Canada on Thursday and it showed up at my house today. Unbelievable!!!
I wasn't counting on it arriving until late this week or maybe if I was lucky early next week. Good job USPS(Killdeer and crew)!!!!!
I couldn't wait to fling an arrow. This was my very 1st shot out of it. I was 28 yards out when I loosed! Needless to say I was thrilled!! I stopped right there came into the house and borrowed the wife's camera and after the normal fight with it managed to get these pictures.
Assuming they show up.... Thanks for looking!!
God bless,Mudd

Well it seems as if you are happy with the bow.
Great looking bow and nice shootn.
Ok so when are you going to start the tuning process - foc - left wing vs right wing - spine calculations and nock height and brace height - silencer type etc.
:biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Your not supposed to be able to just pick it up nock any arrow and just shoot it THAT GOOD BUD
Congrats - jer
Looks and seems to be a winner.
Great shooting Mudd, I have a thunderstick mag and a thunderstick ramhorn recurve. Love them both. I will have a moab someday.
i wanna see where the 2 and 3rd arrow goes. :)
I don't know Mudd, you may wanna just box it up and send it to me so it don't mess up your shootin. ;)
Seriously though, nice shot and nice lookin bow also.
Mudd you better hold on to that one.
Whoa, bummer, you missed that big Block target? :scared:

You guys are tough!!!...lol
I was just reading the other day that the only arrow that counted was the 1st one. Now I've got to go out and shoot number 2 and 3.
Can I move up to say... a reasonable distance of maybe 15 yds for the next 2?
God bless,Mudd
Nice Mudd, she's a beauty and great shot. Hope it wasn't a fluke.
Very Nice Mudd!
Were tough on you - how bout you tough on us.....I have never shot a first arrow out of a completely new to me bow that well.
It's all good buddy..
Jer Bear
OK! I took the challenge! I only took 2 arrows with me but I did move up to 15 yds.
Here are my next two arrows.
Thanks for looking!
God bless,Mudd

Great job Mudd! I really like the looks of your bow profile...Keep up the good work!
excellent shooting, and a great looking bow!! :clapper:
Lookin tight Mudd, very pretty bow
And what did you expect??? :biglaugh:
Good shooting sir! No, let me rephrase that. Great shooting sir! Thanks for sharing!
You missed the straw both times. Better keep practicing. :clapper:
Think I see a crack in the bottom limb near the fade. Send it to me and I'll take care of it...
I think Killdeer hit it. Which target were you shooting at and what did that pretty pink straw ever do to you.
Love the look of that bow.
Perhaps beginners luck!
I want to see the next 400 shots out of it. Post the pics when you're done! :biglaugh:

Now that's funny right there, I don't care who ya are!
Great looking bow and some shooting to boot. :clapper:
Very very nice shooting, let the deer beware.
Not quite as tight a group as the first arrow.
But they are really nice bows. I want one to.
John
Is it me, or is that bow cut more to center than most of the MOABs?
Oh yeah, nice shooting and beautiful bow.
What pdk25 said, and does it have more palm swell as well. Hey, a poet and didn't know it.
Congratulations Mudd, man that does look sweet. I am proud for ya. Looks almost like the one I ordered.
Hows yer fever now?
Now if you can find a buck with a pink straw on it's side, you'll be in business.
Glad you like the bow MUDD. Good shootin!! :bigsmyl: Bob
Good shootin Mudd,and a fine looking bow,congrats.
I have MOAB #00001 and it happens to also be 47#. You will soon discover what I did which is that you will spend a lot of time dragging dead game and not much time hunting when you take that bow afield.
Beautiful bow and great shooting. I bet shes got some good mojo. Enjoy!
Wow, hope the bow I just got does as well for me. If not I better have you come shoot it.
Good shootin, and a purty one to boot!!
Great looking bow, and it looks like every animal in the woods better stay away from that bow.NICE SHOOTING
Great shooting seeing all of these good looking longbows on here is giving me the longbow bug! :D
Looks fine, good shooting, congrats on the bow!
Nice bow for certain, but I am still going have to call P.E.T.P.S.
Nice bow, nice shooting and luck to your hunting this fall.
I believe this was truly a case of luck and there are days that I'd rather be lucky than good.
I'm lucky I could block out thinking about what I was attempting to do long enough to make the last 2 shots.
I doubt anyone was more surprised than I was.
I'd be willing to bet that my 1st 3 today wouldn't be nearly as close to the little red(not pink) straw.
I am considering giving it another try today then retaking and posting the photos regardless of where they are, at the risk of embarrassing myself.
What say ye?
God bless,Mudd
Nice shooting.
Gilbert
Nice bow and good shooting. Go for it, I bet you can do it again.
Is it even possible to robin hood a pink straw?
Roy,
Don't let the fact that you missed the straw all 3 times discourage you, it'll get better!
Lol.........lol.......that's good shootin buddy.
Very nice looking bow as well. I've been watching you scratch around trying to find you a Moab so much it's got me wanting one too. Glad you got you one.
Good Luck,
God Bless,
Charlie
I'd love to see more pics of you shooting, but do whatever makes you happy with your new bow.

Looks to be a beauty of a stick as well!

It's made by one of sponsors Thunderstick Archery/ Jim Reynolds is the bowyer and you'd be hard pressed to find a better bow or person.
I haven't ever read anything negative about his bows or him. I enjoy his company!
God bless,Mudd
