I just realized that some of my favorite bowyers are fairly young. Bill Dunn: Zipper Bows, Brandon Stahl: Rose Oak Creations, Brian Wessel: Talltines Archery. These three gentlemen are personable and represent Traditional Archery well. They seem to have a great future ahead of them. I'm not knocking any of the "OLD" guard mine you, just thinking that these guys are positioned to be some of the top talent for years to come.
Those guys all do great work.
The bar is very much raised for all bowyers these days. In the age of the internet, word spreads over night if quality of workmanship is not there. Also, I think bowyers have to be more personable and take care of their customers much better now then years ago because the competition is fierce.

I have never had a chance to meet Brandon, or shoot his bows. But I have had the pleasure of meeting Bill and Brian, and they are top notch bowyers. More then anything they are just really great people. :clapper:

Yes we are lucky to have such talented bowyers.
I have only met and talked to Bill. He is absolutely one of the best guys I have ever delt with!

Its encouraging to see some of these relativly newer and also youthful bowyers with excellant product lines. The future looks bright.
We need both the older guard and the up and coming generation to keep the great art of trad.archery rolling. If we did not have any young bowers the skill would die away. Heres to both groups THANKS. :clapper:
