Title: New Hill, Quiver and Arrows
Post by: LongStick64 on February 20, 2010, 04:34:00 PM
Here is my new Big Five from Craig, Errol Flynn (Robin Hood movie) quiver from Mikes Archery Leather, and some Rose City POC Arrows.

Now I can't wait for the danf snow to melt so I can shoot it all together.

Thanks folks, the quiver is real cool. Mike was a real pleasure to deal with. The quiver was made to resemble the quiver Errol Flynn used in the Adventures of Robin Hood. Guess I was real inspired by that movie when I was a kid. Big Shout out to my Dad (rip) he introduced me to the sport with his Pearson flatbow and letting watch those classic movies.

That is a beauty of a rig. Now as several others have said, a little snow won't bother it one bit, take her out and have some fun.

Nice setup, and a pretty set of arrows, too.  What are the bow's specs?  Love those straight-grip Hills.

I love it....all!! Tell us more about the bow. I too am an Errol Flynn fan and he was the best Robin Hood of all of them. IMHO

I hope by the time you read this post you've shot it a ton already.. snow be danged!!

Thanks for showing it off to us!

God bless,Mudd

Nice, but what snow?  Looks like spring time where those pic's were taken.  Snow or no snow I would be shooting it.

You dadgum Hill style shooters are kill'n me.  There's been a bunch(it seems) of Hill bows posted on the Gang in the last month or two.  I sure do miss my old longbow. *sniff*  Maybe with the new job I can get something this summer.

Great looking setup, LongStick.  Get out and shoot that thing!

I think I need to get a Howard Hill bow. I don't think there is a bow made that looks so cool at full draw.
