Well my Zircote/Tiger Myrtle 54" 50@27" PCH-X came in today I rushed out and shot a few dozen arrows after I had the bow all setup. Not much I can say other than it shoots very hard, very quiet, and is easy to shoot accuracy wise like every other Widow I have owned. The Zircote is nice I like the color sort of a rich chocolate brown with some grain to it and the tiger myrtle is unreal pictures don't do it justice. Also the riser is not as dark as the pictures show the camera seems to be having a hard time catching the true color of the zircote wood. I plan on doing some more shooting tomorrow.

Cody, Thats a beauty for sure. Look forward to the reports of how she shoots once you've had her for awhile. Sean
That is awesome! Such a beauty! Have fun!
Great color, really rich
Gotta tell ya....
I don't shoot BW's (great bows), but that's the prettiest one I've ever seen.
Congrats!
Baaaam! That bow is sweeeeet!! :clapper: Congrats. I am still waiting for my PCH III. Won't be as nice looking but, still excited about it.
Cody, you are a bad influence! :help:
That is smack yo mama purty!
I would trade a ear or maybe a kidney if I had to for my PSAII, but I got to admit. At the same prom, mine is the ugly chick...
But she sho hits hard.
If you get a pic that takes the zircote and shows it well let me know. Those limbs are unsightly they are so nice.
Ben you better order one before they sale out! (LOL) I hate to say but I have it's evil twin a 54" 51@27" PCH-X Curly Narra shipping real soon also. You always need a back up plus I sold my PSA-X 56" crossgrain graybark I miss it already it was a sweet shooter but the PCH shoots as good in a alittle smaller lighter/package which is what I was aiming for.
great looking bow!
Stunning Bow...... Perfect wood combo.
LOVE IT....can't wait until mine shows up.
Anyone put a bolt on quiver on it...wondering if i should get the BW quiver with mine
I use the Safari tuff usually burt that was because I was using a longbow and don't want to add weight to the longbow
Jer Bear
Spectacular!!!
WOW!!! That sure is pretty. :notworthy:
Bill
Jaw-Dropping! I want some of that tiger myrtle!
I always love ziricote, but dang, that be nice myrtle!
Prudy
Whowee! :clapper:
Yeah those veneers are awesome.
Nice looking bow! Sounds like it shoots fantastic also, a win win combination.
wow! love it
Simply stunning!
Nice cody!! I think that Tiger Myrtle is my new favorite veneer! Jr.
Very nice bow I like that wood combo. Jerry I have the BW quiver for my PSA but I do'nt use it much I just do'nt like the extra weight it adds.
What a great looking bow.
That Tiger Myrtle is amazing!!
ummm... Wow!! Wish I had the $$ for one of those... gorgeous bow!!
Wow...that's nice!!! Not something you would have seen from BW just a few years ago - those guys are doing some really fine work!
That's a looker for sure.
What a beauty! Best of luck with your new Widow!!!
Man-oh-man those guys at the Widow works are really outdoing themselves. The bows have always been great shooters and over the last few years the eye candy aspect has ben getting better and better. A terrific looking bow!
That looks awesome Cody!!!!!
Cody,
Simply an awesome Widow, love your wood choices buddy!
Sweet, Love those limbs
Man, that's a great combination, one of the nicest widows I have seen.
Black Widows on top of there game. This new PCH is a slayer for sure. I got a chance to look at some at the Bunny hunt. There work is OutStanding!!
Have to say that is a GOOD looking Widow. Enjoy.
Good looking bow. I was able to see "in person" a pch for the first time yesterday. It was really nice, just my weight...but for the wrong hand! Probably good that I couldn't have shot it anyway.
Man I shot the new PCH until my fingers were sore yesterday. It is a shooter for sure an I am very happy with the workmanship BW put into the bow it is flawless from the smooth uniform finish,no white spots or imperfections in the glass,sanding/smoothness of the wood, and the limb/pockets fit like a glove.I was going hog hunting today but rain/storms have been going on all morning so I am sitting at the computar. If you notice in that last picture I posted on post #1 you can see where the wild hogs have been tearing up the yard at night my family has ran 2 big boars out of the driveway this week. That said the last two times I hunted I walked for miles didn't see a hog one I guess I should start hunting closer to the house.
Really nice. I wonder if I draw 28.5 if 54" would be to short.
That's a tough one, predator man. Definitely need to try one out. I have a 29" (maybe a little more) and I didn't like the way the 54" felt. I didn't even shoot it because it was uncomfortable on the draw. The 56" held up fine to my draw, but didn't feel as good as the 58" to me. I think mostly it is personal preference, I think the bow would hold up fine at that draw (though it isn't in the recommended range)and it would be up to you to determine if it was comfortable or not...Mike
Nice looking bow there. Congrats.
Great looking bow. Can't wait to see the Narra.
That's a keeper for sure. The limbs and riser are a great match.
one of, if not the nicest Widow ive seen.
Looks good I got one coming with a Bocote riser and Tiger Myrtle limbs. Should be here at the end of march.
Here's one of mine.

Mike, what quiver is that you have on there? Nice looking bow.
That sure is a beauty. I ordered a 54" in Bocote at kazoo...hope to have it by mid April.
T Horn Boa small fry. They are easy on easy off and work great.
Wow... some nice widders right there!
ak.
Simply beautiful. My new Crow Creek has Tiger Myrtle lams on it as well. I should get it soon.
Ya know......I knew I was gonna kick myself for ordering the greybark, and not an X wood!! :banghead: Nagh, now real regrets, beauty of a bow!
Ya best looking veneers I have ever seen! WOW!!
NICE!!!! Real nice!!

Looks a LOT like my 64#er.....cool!!!
Terry, did you get your bow? I'd like to see some pics if you did. I figure I have about 5 weeks yet...Mike
Nah...not yet...but that's what its gonna look like with the 64# limbs...and Olive Ash with the 58#ers
that's a nice bow
Terry, did you go with zircote as well or stick with the honduran rosewood? I keep looking at this pic and kinda wonder if I should've went with zircote myself. I talked to Roger about it, but in the end went with Pau Ferro (like on my old PSAX)...Mike
Brazilian Rosewood.
I don't think you can go wrong with zircote,brazilian/honduran rosewood, and pau ferro is another wood you don't hear alot about. I have a toelke 3 piece recurve with the pau ferro riser I like the color/grain of the wood alot. I havea Curly Narra 54" PCH on order as well should be done real soon I think it will be very, very nice also. To be honest I have seen several great looking "X" Widows last few months I think BW has turned it up a notch in the exotic grade bows.
Su---weet!
Yep,every new one is hotter than the previous.
Beautiful! No other word fits. Show some pictures of just the riser when you get a chance. The light color of the limbs may have thrown the light meter off in the camera. That may be why its coming out darker. Or if you want to keep it together. Lay it down and cover the limbs with a black or dark (darker than the riser) cloth.
Cody, you provided the straw that broke the camel's back! :goldtooth:
Uh-oh Ben, what did you do?
Sorry Ben the good thing is BW waiting time has been around 6-10 weeks on average not to bad! The PCH shoots great I have been shoooting some arrows in the evenings after work they have been zipping right to the kill zone on my target. One of my buddies likes shooting my PCH so much he is ordering a 56" PCH graybark very soon.I will try some better riser pics soon when I get a chance to sit down and try a different camera also.
:saywhat:
How about some specs, Ben...
Ben - better to be a bow-aholic than the alternative right.
Jer Bear
LOL! Ben, I must be in the same boat! My PCH should be here in March. :help:
Okay: 60" PCHX, 65# @ 28" (I know, I know: far too light for rabbits!); tiger myrtle limbs, dark pau ferro riser; no red glass in bow. :goldtooth:
We're all like kids waiting for Christmas!
