Hey Ben, Thank You. How are you? I've been watching your posts. Hope someday to get your direction. I will tell you this bow is a beauty. I pumped a dozen of my bamboo arrows at the target today with it. Actually only used 3 arrows but flinged em 4 times at only 10 yds indoors.
I'm going to like this one!
There is something about this bow. It has Charm, Charisma, and Character.
And now I have a model for my osage staves that have been curing in the shop.
I'm elated. And I'm going to learn how to build my own yet.
Fred
Fred, Was that the one you got off the classifieds? NICE!
barebow17, Yes and she's a beauty isn't she?
From the name on the bow it looks like I'm the second owner. I would never have been able to purchase it new. Only the third selfbow I've ever owned. # 1 was a ufinish that I purchased from Dan Quillian, # 2 was an Osage and Yew from Jay St. Charles.
I often kick myself for turning the others.
This one is a keeper to be passed down.
...that's a beauty Ferd.
Terry
Sweetheart right there Fred - congrats and enjoy!

That John Strunk bow will spoil you and raises the bar for the bowers out there. :D
That is some pretty sticks. I sure like snakes and osage.
