Cool tool!
Aren't the simplest ideas always the best?!
Jerry,
You're smarter than the average buffalo!
That thing is great!! I am going to go out to the shop and build one right now.Great idea Buff. Bob
Well dang! Maybe pigs can't fly but Buffaloes can sure carpenter. Good job!!
Thanks for sharing!
God bless,Mudd
If you'd stop trying to hold that thing from the wrong side, you wouldn't need three hands!
;)
Very nice! H
Nice tool....but what kind of bow is that? looks sweet!
that is really a great idea!!!
That really is great; wish I had thought of it.
That is a great idea! I am going to make one just like that. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent,thanks for sharing.
Very cool - when are you marketing it ;)
JB
It's a Holm-made "Osprey" and a real shooter.
Quotewhen are you marketing it
I'm not. I just do this stuff for my own entertainment. If anyone wants to go for it.
Good deal !!! My next project,Thanks for sharing.
Now that's a "handy" tool to have. Bet more than one or two of them get built this weekend. Thanks for posting the pics.
Very Nice! Sweet bow too, love the grain in that riser.
 :Great Job lots of talented people around here!
I made one to hold mine while putting on serving, but really like the way you can set yours it on it's side.

I will be sure to show your pic to my wife. She always gives me a hard time about my "busy" workbench, she doesnt understand that with all the tools and gadgets, we know exactly where everything is!
That is a great idea, and I really like the one for doing servings. I'll add this idea to the project list.
Way cool!!
Necessity is the Mother of Cool Tools and Jigs!! Good Job!! :archer:
I could always use an extra hand.
Good idea.....
Jerry & Ric,
I saw the post on home made ideas and I think Ric was the first one I saw last week and now Jerry's...This is a really good idea and one of my next projects for my shop...Thank you both for posting them and it is a great way to do the serving and puffs or whatever...Please if anyone else has any can you post them before I make mine? Good job to you both
Great idea...working smarter NOT harder.
Great idea, nice workspace too!
Here's proof that you don't have to be handsome to be handy! There are some of course who are just the opposite.. not very handy but handsome!!
Nice job Jerry!!
God bless,Mudd
That is a cool tool
The best part of it is you don't have to clean your work bench. You just elevate what your working on above the mess. :p Chad
I guess I have a project starting today. thanx Jerry
Thanks for sharing that will be handy.
There are alot of crafty feller's on here. Cool Idea! Jason

that's nice jerry. Now you need one to hold a stave down for you. :-)
Wow, I just saw this...very cool Jerry!! Thanx for sharing your idea....I'll make one for sure...
Got mine built yesterday and heading over a friends house today to play around with it! I made mine 24" center to center due to some of the fadeouts on some of my bows and I added a forth hole for the wider limb recurves and all ya need to do is move one peg...Instead of the wood dowels or leftover 11/32 shafts I used some cut off 1916 and 2016 aluminum shafts as my pegs...I was very careful of drilling through the 3/4 and keeping the bit straight so the pegs wouldn't lean inward..Also make sure you keep about 2" between the posts if you add leather or felt around the post cause some bows have some wide limbs...This is one simple project we all must make...Thanks guys for this idea..
