Glad to be on board with some fine archers that know a real bow when they see one. As uncle Howard once said when he first saw a compound bow,I don't believe that archery was meant to be so complicated. Now that I am retired I am looking forward to talking to all of you through this web page. I don't claim to know everything and dislike someone that has a big eye and little you attitude. I have been around a long time and have known some great archers in my travels. Hopefully I can answer some of your questions as I was longbow when longbow wasn't cool. Thanks to Josh Pemberton for getting me fired up,and getting me to join you fellows.Jerry Hill.......................

Jerry I regret to tell you that a couple of years ago let my son use my last Jerry Hill broadhead. He said that arrow flew a long way after the pass through. The deer went about 40 yards, but we never found the arrow back. I wish they were still available. I look forward to your posts.
Welcome :)

What do you know about Bob Swinehart? I have his Book Sagittarius. Howard and Bob are still the Archers I like to hear as much as I can about, I look forward to your input! Mike
Welcome Jerry .... some of my first woods arrows were made from you. They were great quality and I shot them for several years. Wish I still shot well enough for wood arrows to last me several years :campfire:
Welcome Jerry, it's good to have you here! Fancypants gear seems to be all the rage these days, a little more Hill home-cookin' will be a treat. And by all means, any photos you might be able to add of yourself, uncle and/or friends doin' it the old way would be awful nice. Pull up a chair and sit a spell. :archer:
welcome, you will love this place!
Welcome Jerry-
This is a great site to be on.
I still have the book that I bought from you Wild Adventure. I remember when I met you and your wife. It was in Tennesse, In 2000 at the Grand Ole Oprey hotel. You had a both setup at the Wild Turkey Federation convention. I was on a business trip with the company that I was working for at the time, and when I seen that the hotel had an outdoor convention I left meetings and spent the rest of the day talking to you about bows and arrows and trying out different turkey calls. Had lots of fun that day.
Welcome aboard.
Darren

Welcome! I hope we get to share in your stories and aquired knowledge.
Welcome Jerry. You gave me some great advice long ago that got me shooting the longbow correctly. I still hunt with one of your bows, a bamboo model that shoots great. You will surely be an asset to this sight.
Jim

Hi Jerry and welcome. I've never met you but I did speak with you by phone about 10-12 years ago. You were good enough to donate a bow for a club event here in North Carolina.
Thanks.
