Who is David Krasofsley? After 'stumping' this afternoon with my dog and an old Robertson Mystical, this is the question at the bottom of my glass of scotch.
I'm at least the third owner of the bow, but David Krasofsley is the name on it. 'Custom for David Krasofsley' right on the riser. Who is David and why did he get rid of this Mystical? Is he still alive, did he give up longbows, did he shoot a world record Polar Bear with it and lose it at the airport? Did his wife give it to Goodwill in a fit of jealousy?
These are the questions that keep me awake at night. Well not really, but I still wonder who he is every time I think of buffing the name out and then let it stay.
Google doesn't know him.
Amazing the questions that can be found at the bottom of that glass, isn't it? :saywhat:
Perhaps you should switch to a more user-friendly port...or sumpin'.
He is probably, at this minute, on another forum lamenting the fact that he once had a Robertson Mystical and sold it, and wants to find it again.
Or not.
I vote we have another drink and ponder this to a deeper level..
Looking for a friendly port.

hhhhmmmmm A little steel wool and the search is over...LOL
I am the person you are asking about. The lettering must have wore off a little, should be Krasofsky. I traded the bow a couple years ago for a heavier mystical. I have since sold that bow to help fund a 56" ACS takedown that I have on order. I really loved that bow but I wanted something heavier to play with. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Nice to know where it ended up. If only I new where all the other bows I have sold over the years with my name on them ended up.
That is TOO amazing!!! Thanks for a smile on a winter night! Who knew......
Ah the English language :)
As a master of the language once writ, "All's well that ends well"!

I found a David Krasofsky in Slovenia... :)
Cool! A happy ending!
