I got interested in bowhunting and archery at about 12 and wanted a bow in the worst way but just couldnt wait to save enough money to by one. So with axe in hand I headed to the woods and cut me a tree that was about 5" in dia. I borroweadraw knife from my grandpa and made me my first bow.....it wasnt pretty but it worked :bigsmyl: He said here use this it should work better for ya :archer: I couldnt have been more excited.
Fast forwared 15 years of switching to and shooting a compound and I was getting tired of the neverending techy stuff and I longed for the simplicity of my younger days of "Pulling it Back and Letting it Go".
So a buddy and I in the summer of 2008 got back into trad gear. I pulled out the old longbow my neighbor gave me....it was a 60" BenPerson 45#s @ 28. We spent the summer getting ready for the season and by October 1 I was ready to go. Iv had two seasons that I wouldnt even be able to dream up. Iv found what Iv been missing :archer:

Wow a couple very nice deer. That one with all the bone on his head kind of caught my eye for some reason. Way to stick on the trail until you found them. Looks like a great first year.
