Title: Knapped head users?
Post by: stringstretcher on February 12, 2010, 12:44:00 PM
How do you carry and care for your knapped heads while hunting.  Would love to see some pictures of your quivers or ways to handle them while hunting.

I carry them in my Thunderhorn Boas.  Usually carry 3 to 4 obsidian heads.  Took my first black bear in 08 with an obsidian head.  what a thrill to harvest an animal with a stick and a rock.

Deer skin Lakota style quiver (protects feathers as well as points)
